There is a video from the 2013 Turkey Trot and it shows that EVERYBODY starting should cross the starting line within 40 seconds. There was no way Mike was 42 seconds back when he took that photo. If he did hang back he did it so he could slip off the course undetected.
LMR, stop playing detective.
Are you actually suggesting that race video from two years ago proves Mike cheated in this year's race?
Your idiocy makes everyone else here look bad.
Just like your continued insistence on including Mike's children in your attacks taints this entire thread.
Just like Mike, you are completely without self awareness.
Believe me, you only help Mike by posting here. Please please please stop.
STFU. I made my point when I posted the video. Next time read it before you make a stupid reply.
Ken, you are freaking clueless. Go away.
Seriously, you have no idea how stupid you come off with every post.
You have done more to single handedly sabotage this thread than every troll combined. You are Mike's best f-ing friend on this forum and you don't even realize it. Get lost you incredible creep.
Make me.

@CecilyTynan No way in hell I was going to Rossi that race.
is LMR Mike? Why is LMR allowed to post?
Already covered by a runner.

Ken doesn't run.
He sucks.
Maybe, but when you look at Rossi's twitter photo of the start
http://triathleteguru.blogspot.com.au/2015/11/did-race-cheat-michael-rossi-attempt-to.htmlyou can see the green top/black hat guy just to the left of the head of the big guy with the purple hat and black top and on the left of green top/black hat guy is a tall grey haired/blue top fella. Grey hair/blue top also shows up to the left just behind green top/black hat in photo you mention in novelrunner blog.
So unless someone other than Rossi took that twitter pic it's not him. Perhaps it was Mike's accomplice?

Didn't someone else post the original video first? Have you actually contributed anything to this investigation?

LOL. That's me. :)
I have no problems being called a hobby-jogger as I'll never be as fast as most of you guys on this thread, but at least I finish every race, even when I'm dead tired at the end of an Ironman.

I think the average person feels the same way. You would think Mike would feel that way after using Teddy Roosevelt's "Man In The Arena" segment in his now infamous video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzhW4YAVqxoBut Mike doesn't get it. Mike feels a need to win for some reason. He has to be faster than other runners. He has to be skinnier than me. He has to make more money than you. Why?
Because Mike hasn't accomplished anything in life. He's just an employee at DJ company that somebody else created. His photo/video company failed. He has no talents. He's never drawn or painted anything and sold it. He's never learned how to play an instrument and stood on stage and entertained a crowd of people. He's never invented a product and sold it for a profit. He's never provided a service without yelling, "Get your hands in the air like you just don't care."
He does two things in life. He plays music for drunks that will dance to anything. And he sits across a table from couples with very little money and shows them photos from a good photographer and then sends out some hack with a can barely get the lens cap off the camera.
Mike's a con artist. That's why he can't complete a race with dignity. Cheating is all he knows how to do.

Part of the mismatch between you and this forum might be that people are not primarily interested in anything outside of his antics around running races.
I agree with the fact that it's tempting to paint a larger picture about why the man feels the need to pump up his own accomplishments, but the focus should be primarily on his cheating, I would say. If a man takes shortcuts with running it will not be surprising he takes shortcuts outside running as well.
Running is a simple sport: You need two lines and the first person wins. If you're not among the first you compete against yourself. There's not a whole lot of referee-ing involved, the best person on the day wins. It's pure and it's simple. If people come around and fvck with that principal runners get pissed.
If you feel the need to primarily discuss Mr. Rossi's credentials as a wedding dj you should go to

Riiiiight. If you've been reading long enough you know this statement isn't entirely true. Long before I came along and during some of my sabbaticals from this thread people have made extensive jokes and comments about his DJing, family life, children, marriage, hair plugs, etc.
Some of the people on here are 100% hypocrites. They make comments about how he has scarred his children for life and then blast me when I make similar comments. Or they will copy and paste things from my Twitter feed and then tell me my comments aren't welcome here. LOL
As I've stated many times, just because I don't run doesn't mean I can't have an opinion about Mike's cheating and bullying. Especially since I was one of the people he tried to intimidate when I made public comments.
And as I also stated, I really do have better things to do. I just wanted to watch Mike make a fool of himself and ruin his family's Thanksgiving and he came through with flying colors. Probably got home from the race and slapped his wife and sent his kids to bed with no supper.
I can't wait to see what he has in store for Christmas.

Fat hurts wrote:I sorted the data from the race. 743 runners finished. Rossi started way in the back. Only 29 runners started behind him. This means that to run a legit 20:25 and finish 48th, he would have to pass 667 of the runners in front of him.
Nobody weaves past 667 runners to set a big PR in a 5K. He cheated again.
Excellent analysis and point! I've added this to my post, I hope that is ok?

Yes, it's perfectly OK.

Agreed, I'm not remotely interested in anything but the race cheating and the continuing lying around that and the Rojo challenges. It bears repeating that the guy who cheated in Marathons who was outed the other day admitted it (by saying he "messed up" - which at least isn't a lying denial) and it has gone away, don't even recall his name.
Ken - the other day I lost my car keys, they weren't where I always leave them, it seems to me that I had two options:
1. Invent a crazy conspiracy theory that an accomplice of Rossi broke into my house leaving no traces and took them neglecting to steal the car.
2. Systematically search for them eventually finding them in a fleece pocket in the washing machine.
Call me stupid but I went for 2.
