But what are the chances that he signed up for two races? Maybe this is a throw-away race if he does well on Thursday? I'm guessing he is trying to avoid people at any cost.
So keep your eyes open on Thursday morning for the cheater.

He is not yet registered for the Abington Turkey Trot.

To anyone who believes he ran a training run 5k in 20:15, I'd like to sell them the Brooklyn bridge. #MikeRossiCheater
Nobody does because he didn't. He's just manufacturing fake evidence to use as support when he eventually claims to have gone under 20. It just says that he has a plan and intends to cheat. Which is going to be pure entertainment. Because, this time, since there is $10,000 involved, it will be fraud - just like the runner at the Nairobi marathon. And he may think he can fool his friends and family with his doctored "evidence", but good luck fooling the police. The guy loves selfies, so he should love his mug shot. Setting up to be a pretty interesting Thanksgiving weekend.
I am not on twitter, but is it odd that nobody ever likes any of his posts? Is that "normal"

nope. it means no one likes you.
Of course you ran a 5k in 20:15, Mike. I absolutely believe you. Most of us here have run our PRs on training runs. Personally, I do it all the time. I set my marathon PR on a training run, and I do an Ironman triathlon on the third Wednesday of every month. I'm the current world record holder for the blindfolded ten mile treadmill run, and I once broke the 4:00 minute mile hopping on one foot.
Good luck on your epic run, Mike! Remember, it's not a lie if you believe it.

Now you hurt his feelings. Twitter has gone private...
There were 732 finishers in 2014 so there should be plenty of witnesses.
The event website also says there is chip timing but no mention of intermediate mats.
Working for me.
Cecily -- any desire to run a 5K this weekend?

He ran it on Alex Viada's secret trail.
(yes the joke was made before on this thread, but it's still good)

quoting that name can get the thread deleted. we don't want that now do we?
If it were deleted, Rossi would start a new one. As long as this thread exists, he's Somebody.somebloke wrote:

This thread would have died long ago if he didn't keep it going by being a narcissistic douchebag. He craves the attention.
I wonder if he'd called up Rojo like AV did if Rojo would have shut down this thread right away and not done the challenge. The reason this thread has set records is entirely because Rossi insists on being a self promoting creep.
Rossi, can I suggest Cecily Tynan's Twitter account as an example of how to present and conduct yourself with dignity and decorum.https://twitter.com/CecilyTynan

Meanwhile, his behavior has resulted in several articles in national publications, and his name is now synonymous with cheater. If he had just laid low, it would have blown over months ago.
My guess is that most of his twitter followers now realize what a nut job he is.
And you have to wonder about a man that constantly has to publish what an awesome father he is. Something unnerving about that.

I have a question about this Rossi dude: He is a wedding DJ yet he lives like a frigging CEO. He is always traveling, never works, always going to games. How did he get rich?
Royalties from his famous invention, MIC. Don't be jealous.
I believe it. Training works!

I know we have no reason to believe it, but it's pretty scary seeing the number "20:15" next to Rossi's name regardless. Thoughts?

He may have blocked you, but his acct hasn't gone private.
Well, it wasn't easy, brah. It was a lot of hard work, but it just goes to show you that if you want it badly enough, anything is possible. First, I increased my mileage to 35 miles per week. I know that sounds insane, but I'm tellin' ya, that kind of mileage really makes ya strong, brah. Then I had my buddy Smart Runnr pace me for the first two miles. I told him to hold an even 4 minute mile pace. He got close, took us through the first mile in 4:00, but fell off a bit in the second and ran a 4:05 second mile split. I had to put the hammer down for that last mile, I'm tellin' ya. But I did it. 3:54 last mile. When I knew the record was mine, I took off my BAA hat and yelled "FROM PHILLY TO WORLD RECORD BABY!"
If you believe, anything is possible, hombre.
And anyone who doesn't believe is a Homewrecking Ho Hater, anyway.
Just checked Kens Twitter. Looks like Mikey will have a little company this Saturday at 9 am.

Nothing against Ken, he's got his own reasons regarding Rossi, but I wish it was someone who could actually run within sight of Rossi to make sure he doesn't cheat.
