It appears he ran the Rocky Balboa 5K Run at a pace of 7:01/mile.
http://results.active.com/events/rocky-balboa-run--2/5k/michael-rossiWhat was his excuse for not running the NYC Marathon, an injury? Typical, once a liar, always a liar. Pathological liar. The only injury he has is his head...ironically the injury he claimed he had when he became infamous was he his ass...which for all intents and purposes, is his head.
Love how he read this thread and talks to us via Twitter. The putrid stench of Rossi truly does permeate many areas.

Let's see: Mikey knows he cheated at Via. Cheated and lied about it.LR knows Mikey cheated at Via. Cheated and lied about it.LR offers Mikey a cool 100 grand to simply run the same time he ran at Via on a warm, humid day where he barely broke a sweat.Mikey continues to not prove anything except he is an ass and we all know it because he proves it nearly every day.Mikey talks tough but won't run with local runners because Mikey knows he cheated at Via. Cheated and lied about it.And we all know it.

21:46 was good enough for 3rd out of 117 AG. That seems like a very pedestrian group of runners. Mike Ross, Michael Rossi , Ike Rossi. Different names same slow cheater underneath.
Ah, so now he can apparently run a 5k faster than his supposed marathon pace. What a breakthrough.
The size of field I would expect faster, certainly the 3:11 guy could muster a high 19 at least YO WAIT MIKEY ROSSI IS A CHEATER AND NEVER RAN A 3:11 AND NEVER WILL. http://www.letsrun.com/news/2015/05/the-evidence-is-overwhelming-mike-rossi-the-viral-marathon-dad-is-a-marathon-cheat-and-should-never-have-been-on-the-starting-line-in-boston/Malicious cheater, liar, and sick excuse for a person.

Thousands of runners and one heroic cheat.

Err no, it was a short course, the kind Mikey likes.

21:46 is quite slow for a 3:11 marathoner. In fact is there any 3:11 marathoner who can't break 20, especially with 10K on the line?

Yes, but it's quite fast for Rossi. Rossi's pb was/is 21:52. So this would be a good result for him.... if it's legit.
Anyone know if the course is USATF certified? I was on reddit and a bunch of people were reporting PRs. Maybe someone can compare the times of what everyone else ran to what they normally ran to see if the course was short or if the conditions were perfect.
https://www.reddit.com/r/running/comments/3su508/race_report_philadelphia_rocky_balboa_run_10k/He's never going to run 3:11. It's not physiologically possible for him. I mean come on but 3:25 is somewhat conceivable. Any PB by mike makes me 2% nervous I'll have to pay the cheater out.

That's because we all know that Rossi never ran a 3:11. Even a 3:45 marathoner should've been able to meet your sub-20 minute challenge with 10K to gain with over 6 months of training. Rossi clearly doesn't have the work ethic. 3:11 isn't happening, sub 20 was his only shot to win some of your $$ and he failed.

I like how Mike quotes Sophocles about his lack of fear. I'm not sure but I don't think he was hiding in his basement behind a keyboard when he wrote that quote. Mikey hangin on every word with his fearless Tweets. Take a long hard look in the mirror then do what you should have months ago, come clean. We won't respect you but those who matter to you may eventually.

Agreed. But don't forget his injury! 21:46 with shattered knees is hard.
He has a special talent for potentially making ANY course short.
