Now that we know who's who, can we set up that meeting at Starbucks between you guys again? I'm dying to see those photos of Mike on the course at Lehigh.
finisher medaL. - Mike
...Oh I realize
Its hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small
But we see your true colors
Shining through...
Sounds very accurate
LOL!!!
I'm back from a fun weekend in NYC and came to check on the thread. The only request I make is posters should lay off the wife and kids stuff. I think its good to have this thread still around and it can probably be a great case study for a psychologist one day but we can really do without some of the attacks.
I was hoping Mike would run the marathon so we could see where he's at physically and if I were him I'd be busting my ass all winter to try to get that 100K in the spring. To those of you who don't think that's possible, I coached my 35 year old friend who hadn't done a run longer than 7 miles before starting the training plan in June/July to a 3:28 in NYC. I'm convinced if he had $100K dangling in front of him on an easier course in the spring he could do that 3:11 or faster, wouldn't be easy but doable with hard work.
From the home office in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the Top 10 reasons Mike Rossi didn't run the New York City Marathon.
10. Busy resurrecting 80's show "Dancin' on Air" that made him famous; to be retitled "Dancin' without Hair."
9. Still recovering from blistering 5k weekend prior.
8. Timeshare needed dusting.
7. Ran into Ken at Starbucks and panicked.
6. Suffering from extreme dehydration due to uncontrollable sobbing after Temple's loss to Notre Dame.
5. Uber driver didn't show up at start line.
4. Forgot to do laundry; no clean BAA stuff to wear Marathon weekend.
3. Got last minute DJ job at Kip Litton's office Halloween party.
2. Went home pi$$ed when he realized Spike Lee wasn't there to make movie about him (Philly to New York baby)!
1. Finally dawned on him that 26.2 is too long a distance for him to actually run.
Ken I thought we had a deal, I would post some of your tweets here as long as you stayed away. you couldn't help could you? You just couldn't help it
Ken is back. Great.
NOT
That much we all can agree on -- no more Ken.
Ken - if you're reading this -- understand that you, more than anyone but Mike, have the ability to end this thread by your anger and willingness to personalize at a deep level. Keep this about Mike. Keep this about running. Or keep out.
Did you actually just post "if" Ken is reading this?
Besides finding that rogue day old Cheeto in his belly , reading this is the best thing that's ever happened to him.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if YouSoCrazy is another SmartRunnr/finisher medaL. alias, or simply another troll who reads Stillman's Twitter account.
I highly doubt that Ken wants this thread to be removed again due to him posting about Rossi's wife and kids.
That crossed my mind. Mike and his DJ boys act as if they are Ken to bring the thread down. They have tried before. Honestly, block all posts coming from Bucks County. (sorry AbingtonRunner - I like your posts, but I'm throwing the baby out with the bath water).

At this point, nothing would surprise me. But after the earlier exchange between finisher medaL and YouSoCrazy, it appears that they are in fact Mike and Ken.
As for blocking posts from Bucks County, I am not in Bucks County and neither is Rossi. I live in Montgomery County but I don't think you can block by county and given that posts can also be done via smartphones renders your suggestion moot. Sadly, even blocking an IP address does little to thwart anyone who wants to post here because they can use a different location or smartphone.
I thought that in Ken's crazed world, Rossi's accomplice was a wholly innocent runner because knowing nothing about running or how races work he misunderstood a RW article.

Check it out everybody I got fat Ken to out himself!

Good job little boy. Now you can add it your resume of :
Daddy, family man, businessman [nice to see you changed the spelling], runner, Boston Marathon finisher, DJ, on-air personality, editor, Philly sports fan.
Don't forget to add douche nozzle too.
It's all a big cluster, but still functioning... In other news, Ken's got sore fingers:
"@mikerossi22 missed you at the NYC yesterday. What happened to you? I had to run it alone. Helping kids with homework?"
"@mikerossi22 you might be done with the past, but the past isn't done with you.

Exactly how bad are the kids doing in school so far? They must be getting picked on quite a bit. Every parent has told their kids to stay away. If they weren't getting picked on a failing you'd have posted their grades already to prove me wrong.

Are you Mike or his friends or not?
I am really confused.
Dear God you are stupid.
Let me guess, this isn't the first time you've had to ask grown ups for help reading the internet huh?
LOL!
Ha ha not funny.
Of course a guy like Mike would make fun of my learning disabilities.
Awesome. Mike is mocking me. Really putting that Temple University Community College degree to work.

Begs the question, does Temple have a major in DJing? I am kind of curious Rossi, what did you major in at Temple?
We deleted posts from the guy who registered "mikerossi22" pretending to be Mike Rossi. If the real Mike Rossi ever wants to post, please contact us.

If he did would he get a special color handle?
