oh my GAWD you fool!
He is obviously a troll . . . not hard to tell.
The only way you validate and encourage trolls and fatty bo batty pathological liars who can't run is to respond to them.
Stop taking this poster seriously.

You must be new here... we can that trolling in case you're tempted to fall for it again
Is Barb McKeever going to have a change of heart?
Hey ken my kid asked me if soldiers have to shoot little kids if their boss says to.
What should I tell him?
Wow these are some freakin bizarre posts here
Go to Mike's Twitter if you want to see bizarre posts: https://twitter.com/mikerossi22 dunno how long he'll leave the latest ones and the replies.

A guy showed up for our fun run tonite and ran between 35:00 and 39:00 for just under 5 miles. Can't get the time any narrower as approximating between myself and a friends times that finished before and after him.
Anyway the guy looked a lot like our boy. Not decked out in BA attire but did have sunglasses. Did not get a chance to talk to him and was nt sure what to say if it was him.
Looks a lot skinnier than the BA pictures.
Probably not him but definitely a string resemblance. Interesting if he starts showing up regularly.
The infallible test would be "Does he run like a Duck?" as the Duckster's gait is quite unmistakable.

Don't you "all" realize how strangely fanatic and out of touch with reality you sound with your wild conspiracy theories and cheating accusations? Nothing happened (well, aside from some hobby jogger improving his mary time from 3:40ish - including a large washroom break and bonking - to 3:11:45), and nothing will happen. No DQs of marines, no firing of race directors, no boycotting of hobby 'thons, etc.
Gotta go for a run now. Suggest you do the same to relax a bit. Not sure whether I should keep responding to the fanatics here. Seems pointless.

You are making the mistake of equating what Ken says with what anyone else thinks.
The cheating is not even remotely in question, even the LVM statement doesn't question this, just demands an impossible standard of evidence because they don't want the hassle.

Yes, I agree you should stop responding as you won't ever address the specific questions you are asked. Your trolling skills are below average, however, you would make a good politician.

If you know he is a troll, why are you upset he won't answer specific questions?
Sheesh.

Point taken. I honestly don't know why it bugs me. I need to step away and reclaim my life.
Thanks for the eye opener! Seriously.

There are always two audiences (at least) but the two I concern myself with are those who recognise a troll and those who take everything on the internet at face value, this is why pressing a troll to at least be consistent tends to happen..

Oh come on. You are evidently wrong.
Point in case 1: I provided the splits of the tempo run when asked.
Point in case 2: I provided the link to the committee's decision exonerating Mike when asked.
Point in case 3: I provided six strong arguments when asked for "just one".
Which questions didn't I answer yet?
Let me see... no, I won't provide specific names of more witnesses from the community for you to stalk. I also don't think the photos don't count because one of them might be a bit blurry, and another one points towards Mike's positive split, which is actually very common.
Oh yes, and shall I really link to the committee's work again? I am done jumping through loops for you. But for those of you who haven't been paying attention: you can read a lot about the investigation on the web, including who was on the committee (not just Barb) and who advised them etc. All trolls, eh?
And stop calling me troll, rojo. Actually, you should stop trolling your own forum. No matter how much you argue against the words of reasons, be them Yasso's, the committee's, Mike's or mine, you will have to pay up soon and admit that you were wrong to accuse Mike.
I'll be back then to tell you: I told you so.

SmartRunnr - it is quite interesting how invested you are on Mike's behalf. You seem to be a huge fan who displays no doubt whatsoever. However your facts could not be weaker.
Right. I got trolled into responding to too many questions - I know better now. It just happens that I know Mike from running, and like the others who do, I realize what a distasteful witch hunt this here is.

Running under 20 minutes for 5K (not 5000 Metres) should be possible for any remotely able-bodied male runner under 60 with coaching and an cash incentive like that, I've run under 20 minutes in 5K races approx 50 times but have done no better than 3:31 for a Marathon.
All this is irrelevent because it won't change the fact that the 3:11 was not run legitimately.
HOLY COW!!! The answer has been right in front of us the whole time, and MR, I mean SmartRunnr, just pointed it out. MR is only 6" tall, which is why he was able to run 3:11. The untrustworthy Marine folded MR up and carried MR in his pocket from mile 1 to mile 25, explaining the 3:11, the horrible running gait and the folded bib, all at one time!!!SmartRunnr, or MR, or whomever you are, even in your BS trolling, you can't keep your units straight. (") is inches. (') is feet. Just like 26.2 mi is a marathon, and 26.2' is the length of the line at Starbucks that MR waited in during the race.

Anyway, over at letsrun, some of us suspect that a certain Mike, another 6", 170 pound fatso, might have taken a shortcut to BQ! Ok, the Boston mary is a lame event for the slow hobby joggers, but we letsrunners still care!! You haven't seem him jogging by, right??
Best,
a real runner.
And you take their response, if there was any, serious?
You NEVER responded to the Questions I asked last night, Mike, I mean not so SmartRunnr. So here, I will repost:
Against my better judgement, I will feed the troll. Please answer the following,
Mike has told me in an email in no uncertain terms that he has 6 or 7 photos given to him by the LVM Committee that did not make the "final cut" of US Candids online photos. Forgetting for the moment that the person in charge of these photos at US Candids, a name I posted before but will not repost, told me that all photos of the race were posted online. Mike's AOL lawyer also told Brojos that Mike had 6 or 7 photos that he thinks shows him on the course but when asked for more details by Brojos, neither AOL lawyer or Mike provided any additional details or the photos.
So assuming for a minute that Rossi received some photos from the Committee (which is a big assumption along the lines of the realness of Santa Claus and Easter Bunny) and he has claimed to me in private and even here and elsewhere of their existence, why won't he or hasn't he showed them to anyone? Now more than ever since Brojos has offered money to see them. He could use that money for his "charity" and shut everyone up, a true win-win for him. Saying he doesn't have to is not a reason or excuse. Since he is the one who from the start has claimed he has photos and other proof, its on him to show us the "goods" since he has bragged about their existence. Otherwise it makes him look not only more guilty, but perhaps the biggest schmuck in history. He has nothing to lose at this point.
In addition, if these photos were given to him by the Committee and they show him on the course, then why didn't the Committee's statement say so? In fact, they make no mention of these or any photos, nor do they make any positive attribution toward Rossi? Why? Because they can't because they know ( as we or anyone with any modicum of logic and reasoning knows) they can't back any positive attribution about him up. So instead they make a convoluted statement that says that there was no evidence that his time was inaccurate. Not only is that not an endorsement or statement of innocence, it is false because the fact that there is not one single time-stamped photo of him on the course means that his time is innacurate. Everyone else who ran the race can point to at least one or more photos at the 5 photo checkpoints but ROSSI CANNOT!
So again, please try to answer these questions with some substance rather than rhetoric.
Smartrunnr definitely is NOT MR. MR's posts are easy to spot. I fully believe MR is a cheat. But I also am not going to be the least bit surprised to see a 20 minute 5k go down. I think that's just too easy a target with too long a window.
Mike continues to show his true colors by tweeting #homewreckers (now sometimes morphed into #H #H #H, short for Homewreckers, Haters, Hacks) mostly directed (subtly) at Cecily. Major credit to her for taking the high road and not responding; I'm not sure I'd have the same discipline. Sorry but MR is not just a cheat, he's a complete a$$ hole.

For the record, there is only one poster who has the wild conspiracy theory, not us "all".
