If Rossi is tweeting, he is lurking and probably posting here. But, he can't do that without the Brojos knowing. Same with his co-workers and buddies, if he has any, who are trolling the board.
Life has gotten so complicated for Mike Rossi, of Rydal, PA, a wedding DJ at East Coast Event Group, who cheated at the 2014 Via Lehigh Valley Marathon to obtain an undeserved entry to run in the 2015 Boston Marathon, and has lied about it ever since his cheating was discovered.
But, remember everyone, Mike wins!

es ! Dj Troll on the board , I don't need to be at my embarrassingly well paying job for another 7 hours , got a tee time @ 1:15 , then 5 hours of partying with drunken bridesmaids and other women the next 2 days . Just wanted to catch up with the latest LR gossip , a good few guffaws and laughter to start the weekend . After tomorrow nights gig is over , down the shore for some boating and fishing , and girl watching for 5 days . Yeah life sucks being a Dj , it'd be so much better sitting in my little cubicle at "#professionaljobcorporateamerica" slaving 40 hours a week.
Somebody writes that a wedding DJ is a job for high school drop outs and college kids - gets attacked for being mean?? Then a wedding DJ posts proving how correct the guy was (see above). This is the exact attitude of a wedding DJ - partying on the weekends with bridesmaids. Most people eventually grow up and move on. A 47 year old, married with children with this job? Have you seen the Adams Sandler movie? There has been plenty of other examples of Mike showing adolescent behaviour - the picture of Greg - so his adolescent job fits with his adolescent personality. But heaven forbid someone mention that Mike's personality/life fit in with him being a cheater. Oh no, it's a mob. FFS, it's LetsRun.
Have you ever been on this board before? You do know it's not a kind place to most people - but to a "hobby jogger" who has to cheat to get a 3:11? Suddenly LetsRun must be kind to him and not mention any of his other short falls, despite his aggressive responses? This is why Mike and his minions will win, they don't have to be kind and all they have to do is troll you by saying you are being mean and you'll all bend over backwards to seek forgiveness.
Here's another link for the new guys coming on:
Google "Mike Rossi" and see where this story is coming up on the results. It's number 3 for me and I'm in Reading, PA. That's pretty impressive for less than 24 hours.
I read the article. A LOT of pro bono work has gone into this already and the fact Mr. Rossi cheated is very clear.
Why doesn't LetsRun offer to pay legal fees and damages to defend the marathon against Rossi should he sue in return for a DQ?
I would imagine the likelihood of him actually suing would be very low and if he did sue, the truth is clearly on LetsRun's side so Rossi should have to pay LetsRun legal costs as well. That would truly be a bold statement in defense of the integrity of the sport.
For those posters with questions about the Boston Marathon registration process:
- for the 2016 race, a qualifying time must be run on or after Sep 13 2014 (so
Mike can't use his 2014 Lehigh 'time' to qualify for 2016)
- qualifying standards are at
- registration for 2016 opens on Sept 14 at 10am, for those who met the qualifying standard by 20 min or more.
- on Sept 16 at 10am, those who met the standard by 10 min or more can register, if there are still spots available.
- on Sept 18 at 10am, those who met the standard by 5 min or more can register, if there are still spots available.
- if there are still spots available, registration will re-open on Sept 21 at 10 am for all of those that met the standard.
- as during the first week of registration, entry during the Sept. 21-23 will _not_ be first-come, first-served, and the fastest qualifiers in their gender and age group among these submissions will be given entry as space allows.
- No word yet on what the maximum field size is for 2016. In 2015 it was 30,000 entrants.
"Participating in the Boston Marathon is a pinnacle achievement in the
lives of a great many distance runners, said Tom Grilk,
B.A.A. Executive Director. "We are keenly aware of the dedication and
commitment required to meet the B.A.A's qualifying standards for
the Boston Marathon, and we recognize their achievement in our
registration process."
Mike's tweet about his first run back has a response:
@mikerossi22 how far did you drive?
Excellent work, "Timbo the kid".
Update on 7/17/2015: We will pay him $100,000 if he runs 3:11:45 on a legitimate records-eligible course in the next 12 months where we have advanced notice of his participation ($10,000 per year for 10 years). A media outlet interviewed us today and asked about how the 3:25 challenge came about and we said, "We tried to come up with a time that was at least theoretically possible to preemptively rule out his excuse of, 'I can't be expected to have the race of my life once again.'"
There is zero chance he'll run 3:11:45.

This B.A.A. statement means nothing if they don't demand some integrity from the qualifying races. I know they can't police everything, but at least require intermediate timing mats and DQs of obvious cheaters.
Regarding Rossi, if you had no other evidence besides his social media history, you would DQ him for cheating based on the fact of his endless posts after virtually every one of his other races (especially Philly marathon) and no posts after what would have been, if he hadn't cheated, the run of his life and, as explained in this thread and in the LR article, one of the most miraculous marathons in the history of the world.
C'mon, Mr. Grilk, call Barb McKeever and tell her that you expect better from her and LVM. No, we can't catch every cheater, but when one is clearly identified, why in the world wouldn't he be DQ'd?

Bad news for Mikey! More media outlets are getting involved and a $100,000 offer is exactly the type of thing that gets attention.

Putting your money where your mouth is. It's like free money for Mike! If I ran 3:11:45 once and someone offered me $100k to repeat the feat I'd be all over it. Then again, Mike never ran a 3:11 before...
Piece of cake Mikey, all you have to do is run 15 miles a week and you got this!

Thank you Lets Run!! You guys are putting your $$ where your mouth is and I highly respect that. News media outlets will be very interested now, does the winner of a major marathon even get that much?

I wonder when that views count will pass this thread's post count?
And I wonder how hard Rossi has tried to get it removed?
It's not a video , it's a series of photographs, a slideshow of stills .
The "views count" will depend on how much of your life you choose to waste clicking on it constantly.
I clicked on it 50 of those times.

How do know it is him and not some trolls?
Corral assignments for the Chicago Marathon are out:
http://www.chicagomarathon.com/participant-information/2015-runner-status/
On a first pass, I didn't see Mike Rossi (of Rydal, PA) listed. Didn't he say that Chicago was next on his list?
Did he not sign up?
Or maybe (just maybe) he tried to sign up using his LVM result as a "time qualifier," and, due to all of this controversy, the Chicago Marathon organizers rejected it?
