If I were him I would sell out for the next 3 months and train for a 5K, the other times are pretty impossible but it is reasonable for a 21:43 5Ker who was mainly focused on marathons to get sub 20 if focusing on that. Might be worth it.

We have published our long awaited article calling Mike Rossi a marathon cheat.

Being scared of a potential lawsuit isn't a good reason to let the integrity of our sport be thrown by the wayside.
bravo letsrun and the brojos for taking the time and the risk to write and publish your piece on rossi

Thanks for publishing the article, any chance we can get the thread title back now?
Dude, you have got to be kidding... I demand an explanation for this article officially coming out now? Select one:
a) You WERE afraid of a potential lawsuit, but now the dust settled and you realize what a sh*tpit this thread has become and no longer fear a lawsuit
b) You just suck at this job. We've been down this road before, empty promises with very very very late delivery
c) You finally read through the whole thread and realized your article was leaked anyway
d) You love trolling

Good timing with the other article coming out next week.

This is good timing. I should be receiving an answer from the RD any day now. With the conclusive evidence provided they can't get out of DQing him now.

Mike - this is the best free advice you will ever receive. Publicly take the brojo's offer now and go nuts tweeting/blogging/FBing about your training and progress. You will get ALL your friends back plus some. Then on race day go out as hard as you can, trying your best to hit 7min for the first mile... then just fall... just take a dive and grab your leg. Say your injury suddenly came back but that your first mile split is conclusive evidence that you ran your 3:11.
That's not the only option... you could also ride that big dog from mile 2 to the finish line and hit the jackpot. Just wait till you cross the finish line to slam him on the pavement though. Good luck
With that gait? That guy is not going to drop more than 30 seconds per mile from his 5k PR.
Greetings From Germany!
Ken you said if Rossi cheated at being a dj you'd be posting on a dj site.
You don't care about marathon cheating. You just have a beef with Rossi and have been repeatedly disingenuous.
You only care about getting even with Rossi .... you don't care about marathons at all.
Thank you Brojos, now we need mainstream media to pick up the article. Reddit, Deadspin, etc...Not a good day for Mike Rossi!!
A lot of other people here care about marathons, though.
And Rossi cheated in one.
It's happening!

Hi ! Welcome to the LR thread of M vs K . The fantasy world where 6 irrelevant adolescents piss on each other all day 24/7 over something that nobody cares abour . Enjoy !
Thanks Brojos for officially publishing the article.
Mike Rossi, The offer still stands. I will help train you and with hard work maybe in a few years of building you could earn a Boston marathon spot.
Shout out to all the people who actually did the work. ... you are now getting the props you deserve (except sara) - NOT those coming at page 250 (looking at you Ken).
I predict 1000 more in 4 days
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
