"Michael Rossi, MD, MBA, FACC, is president of Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG). He is a clinical professor of cardiovascular medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, LVHN’s academic affiliate. He also is a member of LVHN’s senior management council and network coordinating group. Prior to his current role, Dr. Rossi was physician executive director of LVPG, the chief of cardiology, medical director of the Regional Heart Center, and holder of LVHN’s Walter and A. Dr. Rossi is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He received a B.S. degree in biology from Brown University in Providence, R.I., and his M.D. degree from the Brown University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., where he was a chief resident; his general cardiology fellowship at The Graduate Hospital, affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania; followed by an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his MBA in Health Care Systems Management at DeSales University."
