Amazing!
We once busted floreani pumping flotrack on here. He flat out denied it. We're like, "We have proof."

And if you send email via a web interface instead of a client program, which is how most people do email these days, the IP address of the message is the IP address of the server that sent the email, not yours. So if you send an email from a gmail account it'll have the IP address of one of Google's servers not your computer or phone or whatever.
You are mixing stuff up.
The whole point behind sending the runner an email with unique URL's is you get independent verification the runner opened the email.
In this case, we know the user is posting from some kind of conventional home/office ISP. Whatever IP address they were assigned resolves back to the ISP and you'd know it was the runner anonymously defending himself.

Type 2531 into bib. The dark figure appears from the left, maybe runs a little with Mike, then exits left as the baby stroller goes from left to right. Wife perhaps? [quote]What Video? wrote:
I think Rossi is behind the guy the whole time in the video. Go to 2:09:14 thru 17. The video is not the best quality and maybe someone has a better one out there, but you can see something in black behind Rendall. I think it's Rossi.
See the screengrab I got
http://postimg.org/image/fwm9f59qd/I've watched the video a few times, and there are a lot of people crossing back and forth. Rossi appears to be trailing Rendell the whole time, though. It's extremely unlikely that he would have tried to jump in so close to the finish with so many people around. If he did cheat, he jumped in after the last photographer but well short of the finish chute.
What this does demonstrate, however, is how damning his absence from the photo rolls featuring Rendell is. He should be somewhere in rolls 6, 13, or 63. But he's not.
What do we make of this?? He has obviously chosen his words wisely in this post. But still no explanation of splits or photos other than the start and the finish... Looks more like a PR piece

BTW eagerly awaiting "phishing" and "hacking" claims from the uninformed.
It's not my fault you don't understand how the Internet works.
I'd have to watch the whole thing. If I try and go to 3:11 it just restarts the video.
Back on sept 7 2014 i had friends complete the Lehigh Marathon as i was looking for there race times i came across a runner with a finish time of 3:11:45 from Rydal Pa name Mike Rossi , so i said to myself this guy must be a pretty good runner so i went on http://www.athlinks.com/athletes/213451360 and look at his times and the first thing i said to myself this guy cheated , i keep it to myself until i received a email from a friend question his race times and you know what happen from there everything blew up , now i see Mike Rossi is not man enough to ever admit to everyone he cheated ,so Mike you can be full of excuse the rest of your life but remember you will never never be a runner like me and most of the runners on this thread , you will always be known as a major cheater
That dark figure comes from the left again right after Rossi crosses the line.

Well, just this posted on his personal FB...
"I have a selfie picture of me at the start and there are photos of me at the finish and video of me finishing the race. The race bib system also documented me at the start and finish. An independent photographer took my picture at the finish."
Well I guess that settles that.........wait.......no that's actually in agreement with everything we've said here.

Yes, let's track down anyone who defends Rossi. Look up their IPs, find their emails, try and lure them into clicking links.
I'm really disappointed with Rojo and letsrun. Taking down the cheater is a good thing. Tracking down people who either troll or just defend the cheater anonymously on the Internet is off limits. It's shameful.
It's been fun being part this wolf pack, but now it's gone too far. I'm out.
PS: see you in Kona
What the hell are you talking about?
When i first started paying attention to this thread, I told people to keep his kids out of it.
I never told people to track anything down. I just said that many of the posts defending him were coming from the same IP address and asked people if there is a way to figure out if it's him or not.
It's either him, someone supporting him or a troll.
Kona = troll
I think he was already there, directly behind the runner in orange, when the stroller suddenly appears. I don't think he would jump in that late. A better strategy would be the last relay exchange, 3.6 miles from the finish. If you could jump in there (or close to it) you could have a nice sweat going by the finish line (particularly wearing a black shirt with short sleeves and a black hat).
ROSSIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

Randy try clicking on the time bar, you may have to try it a few times but you should be able to start it close enough not to have to watch the whole thing.
Gotta be some people at the finish and along the course so it would be next to impossible for no pics or video to exist in the questionable time period.
I have to give credit to these photographers -- they took a lot of pictures. I feel like I know some of these people after flipping through roll after roll.
My point is that for a given individual the estimated VO2 max should be consistent for performances no matter the distance, and it is a fairly good predictor. And it should not be jumping UP by 5 points for a 2.6x longer distance. If you have a good explanation for how that could happen (on a hot day) for a marathon I'd love to hear it.
lol this d-bag post on a Philly Sports message board called phillysportsforums.com. Not sure on his username.
Similar to letsrun in that it is mostly extreme conservative tin-foil hatters.

He played the "Internet Mob" angle very well and threw in the "I'm injured, have some sympathy." and sweetened it with, "The Internet Mob is wrong too."
I'm a little disappointed he didn't throw in a "Freedom, God and Country" message.
Too bad the facts don't fit his story well at all. In America 2015, facts don't matter. What's a little blatant disregard for simple rules matter for an injured guy being attacked by a mob?
9/10.
I love this story. Give this joker his own reality show.
Do you notice how he doesn't deny that he cheated? He states "The allegation against me that I did not achieve a qualifying time at Lehigh Valley is completely false".
Of course those allegations are false. He did achieve a qualifying time, but he may have cheated to get that qualifying time. This is a cover your butt statement....he is really not denying that he cheated, but making it seem like he is saying that. I bet his lawyer wrote this.
