Why should I do that? So an inflammatory article becomes egg on the RDs face and possibly derails the chance of a DQ? I've communicated my next course of actiion and if the evidence isn't taken seriously I will proceed. And no I'm not posting correspondence until this plays out in a controlled fashion. This thread is at no risk of dying, you've waited so long you can be patient.

Release the Kraken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry, I can't bring myself to "like" this page.
"Teachers and Runners United - seeking DQ of Mike Rossi."
I'm mortified my family/friends will see I "liked" a page that sounds just ridiculous, grandiose, and vengeful. It smells like a name Ken would come up with and seriously detracts from your credibility. Can you change it to something a little less personal (leave out the MR part) and not so grandiose (no "teachers and runners UNITED)? Maybe just "BQ with integrity", or "Running with integrity"....

It is Ken's page.
Sorry guys, the SmokingGunner moniker has been a super lame troll. It won't bother you again, but now you'll have to look out for the same trolling lameness under a new name.

In fact, Ken constantly pointed out that his girlfriend is a teacher and trumpeted the teacher angle to death.
In response to mileage_man and any other statistics buffs - it occurred to me that my prob. calculation may have overlooked one other factor. When you perform the photo analysis, there is no prior expectation as to whether any or no runners will be missing at all 5 checkpoints. So should you also multiply the final probability by another 1/200 factor given that the sole a-priori 'person of interest' (identified as such based on his previous PRs) turns out to be the one missing at all 5? i.e., from a statistical perspective, any of the top 200 runners could be missing at all 5 checkpoints. This is an intriguing Bayesian analysis problem that the statistics community might actually be interested in.

Please retract that statement or I will have Ross's attorney contact, sue you and have this website block your IP address. Food fight......

Who is Mike's attorney? (because Mike representing himself as an attorney is illegal)
seems like Ken's comments on the VIA page have been deleted. There was a snide comment about how the $15 savings could buy a couple drinks at Starbucks. It shows there are 2 comments but only displays one. I seriously doubt Ken deleted it which makes me think VIA is finally tired of Ken.

So would this be the first case of Barb making the right decision?

No, they delete everyone's comments about Mike on their posts. They only allow you to post comments independently or on the actual post from them about Mike. They aren't sick of Ken, they are sick of Mike.

No kidding. This might get Via to change their mind as well.
Looks like they are deleting/limiting comments in that post, says there are 7 comments but I can't see any but the most recent.Oh and btw, Mike Rossi cheated at this race and used that lie to 'run' (if you want to call that thing he does with his legs running) the Boston Marathon. Given that gait I suspect even with years of training he would develop some >real< injuries and never be able to qualify.

Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?

How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
