Let me finish it for you:
There is stockpile of info that has been gathered in fantasy land.
As you asked the question:
Because in the end, isn't Mike the real joke? - No, you lot are.

No, the Rossi guy is the joke. He's a 47 year old wedding DJ who's only achievement in life is based on cheating at a marathon? Come on! Troll all you want - but that sh*t is good comedy. Adam Sandler couldn't make up a story that funny!!

The decision on timing mats was made long before the Rossi situation came up. Many months before. The decision had nothing to do with Rossi,

And how would you know this information?
Anyone in the facebook investigation group, I got kicked out of it by K for telling him that his theories lack merit and fact. He tried to run me out by attacking me then when I said I wouldn't leave he kicked me out. Sorry but the guy has issues, please take his theories with a pinch of salt and good luck with the investigation.

I left also, ken is losing his mind and I don't want to be a part of it.
Well, you weren't contributing much other than attacking him. So....goodbye.

Oh, I thought it was because I asked him to stick to the facts and stop with the wild conspiracy theories and slander of people where there is no evidence whats so ever to suggest that they were involved. But thanks anyway K, you proved my point by booting me out. You will lose any credibility you had left with most people still in there now. I can't be silenced and I don't go away.
Hi Ken
It's been an interesting few weeks, but it's time to let it go. The thing is, Mike didn't "win", so no need to fret about that.
Think about it -- if before Mike did this, he could see the future and could decide whether to go through with it or not, do you think he would? I don't think so.
Several articles written about his potential cheating, with a couple of them
quite clear that he did.
Hal Higdon calling him out as a cheater.
Founder of letsrun.com writes an article spelling out that he cheated
A Google search of his name displays his having cheated prominently.
Many, many runners across the nation know that he cheated.
Best case scenario for Mike is that his wife and kids know nothing about it. But he has to wonder for the rest of his life if they will ever do a Google search of his name.

I wonder who "to the point" might be....Ken, I thought you were antibullying yet you are arguably bullying Sarah. My advice is take a few days away from this, it's consuming you and making you crazy and I mean that in a helpful way.

Some of us are looking at ALL angles and others are concentrated on just looking at what we already know hasn't panned out, thinking that something magical is going to happen and a fairy princess is just going to drop high definition video on their lap with proof.
But lots of good people have already been doing work and we won't let these few derail it. We all know Rossi cheated. If anybody has anything new please bring it forward. But rehashing the same schtick from the past month is doing any good.
As someone who has painfully watched this thread since the start, the hijacking by "Ken"/LoserMikeRossi has seemed like a slow motion car wreck and it is hard to imagine any more effective way of losing the credibility of this thread.
The apparent illogical standard of evidence required by the RD of the VIA Marathon would suggest to me that even footage of Rossi leaving the course and removing his bib would not be enough in their minds to DQ him.
I'm afraid that in this case the cheat is going to get away with it, we all know he cheated and he knows he cheated.

Sarah,
I am sorry to hear that. I have often expressed concern over Mr. Stillman's tactics, damaging words and crazy theories. I believe whole-heartedly that Mr. Rossi did not run the entire race and have written about that that the facts known to date. However, Mr. Stillman on the other hand, has potentially damaged any new evidence that may be unvocered (if he is associated with it) by his constant rants about all the non-running crap that he continuously spews here. That is not to say that I don't think he should work to help prove that Mr. Rossi did not complete the race, but given the huge uphill battle, the person who has self-proclaimed himself chief secret investigator needs to have a clean and indefensible persona and public comments so that you (Mr. Stillman) does not become the issue. He has failed miserably on this account.
In addition, while the start line video is interesting, I have a hard time believing it is going to show too much conclusively. I suspect Mr. Rossi crossed the starting line, and if you see that, so what? I highly doubt that the video will show him hopping into his minivan. If you can't find him crossing the starting line, that too will not prove much. Hell, we have shown that there is not one single photo of him on the entire course at 5 separate photo checkpoints and if that is not conclusive evidence, I don't know what is.
That begs the question, which was raised in runningwithintegrity.blogspot.com, which is, what does or would the Committee consider conclusive evidence? We don't know what they would consider conclusive evidence, which is key. It doesn't matter what we think conclusive evidence is, it matters what they would consider conclusive evidence to be.
As for the the conspiracry theory that he had help. It is interesting, but based on the above paragraph, that is not going to convince the Committee of anything, short of the his helper coming forward with a tape of him/her talking with Mr. Rossi about it. Do I hope that can find this person, if this person exists, yes, but again, the Committtee must be willing to accept what it is as conclusive evidence. Given what we have, what was know when they reviewed everything, we need to do a much better job.
Finally, bragging about the behind scenes work here etc. by Mr. Stillman, along with his constant references to Mr. Rossi's wife, children, work, boss, sleeping arrangements, etc., is akin to Mr. Rossi saying I have pictures of myself on the course. Mr. Stillman, while I commend your efforts, your means leave a lot to be desired and you have opened yourself and any evidence up to be discredited by your rantings. Discretion is the better part of valor. Try being a bit more discreet, it will serve you, us and the investigation much better.
Sarah, please contact me.
Thanks

Some of us are looking at no angles. Have you even looked at the photos of Douglas Rendall Ken who you claim (Slanderously although you kicked me out before I could screenprint) ran for Rossi? There's no way he had a bib in those shorts that would still look ok for Rossi's finish photo. His shorts are soaking. You're disregarding any evidence that does not support your theories because you have a personal vendetta against Rossi so much so that you will accuse innocent people (at least two so far) of helping Rossi cheat just so you can keep yourself and your ego central to an investigation that you lack the knowledge to be part of. I'm not attacking you, I tried to get through to you nicely but when you realised you were losing you kicked me so that you could continue with the cazy theories that serve nothing other than to massage your ego. We tried to warn you that you were ruining any credibility that the investigation has but you wouldn't listen. I think anyone who has been in here since the beginning will tell you that it's not like me to attack anyone but someone has to state the facts somewhere where it can be read by those you are trying to influence without you trying to silence them.
See, this is what got you kicked out of the FB group. Personal attacks and not helping with the investigation.

You attacked me Ken, saying that I did nothing for the investigation and that i was pointless. You attacked me again and again hoping that you would make me leave because I disagreed with you. I got kicked out for talking sense. The truth is that most other members agreed with me, I was just the only one to say it and then when I didn't leave you kicked me out. Not really a very mature attitude is it? What do you have to say about Douglas Rendall's soaking yet shorts?
brojos, lock this thread it has devolved into the world of stupid.
That said, Mike Rossi cheated at LVM.
