I would have no way of knowing that. Are you saying that receiving a wedding video late caused a couple to get divorced? That would be interesting to hear how that is possible. I would contend they had bigger issues and maybe shouldn't have gotten married to begin with.

No, I wasn't insinuating that the late video would be the cause of a divorce. Knowing the fleeting nature of marriages these days, I just thought that some of the videos might arrive AFTER the marriage had already ended!

I approach each wedding with the idea that the couple is going to watch their video on their 50th wedding anniversary and I always have done my best to maintain top quality. And with that quality comes a certain degree of post production, and that's where my issues took their toll. In contrast there are companies that will get you a video within 30 days. But if you were compare my work to a product delivered in 30 days you might agree you'd probably never watch the one with the faster turnaround because it's not much different than what a relief would have film with their iPhone.

I am sure that some couples had gotten divorced fairly quick. That's just human nature. I have one video from 2007 that was completed within 60 days and I could never find the couple again. All info on the agreement was incorrect.

It's because people rush into marriage that all wedding professionals get paid in advanced.

My father was a caring man, but he wasn't perfect. The way his disciplined me and my sisters would be considered child abuse today; meaning we got his belt across our backside. From that I knew I wanted to always teach my son better. I cant predict his future, but I can tell you I've never hit him.

And karma has kicked my ass over this video thing. I can provide for my son, but not everything I had hoped. All we can ever do is better than the day before.
