Ok, whatever you think, I am not Mike, this is a registered username that was registered before this thread even began, try posting under it. But seriously, I think that's him right above the girl in the green headband, look at it.
Look at his hat it looks like someone poured water on it , also check out his face reaction no signs of him running the race of his life, he laughing ( properly saying to himself i just cheated my way into Boston now its time to go to the Philadelphia Eagles Game ) also a sub-par runner like Rossi who race times are rated a D- would be in pain and would have a bottle of water in his hand after running the race of his life
Runner 1837 a much better runner than the cheater looks like she just got done running a hot hard marathon
picture
Why the games your a D- Runner who could never break 21 min 5K @ 41 min 10K@ 1:40 Half Marathon , 3:40 marathon and your 10 mile race are at 1:15 , are you telling me your a better runner and are in the same class as guys who run a 18:00 5K, 38:00 10K, 1:25 Half Marathon , 3:10 Marathon and a 1:05 10 miler , if so show us there is no way you could ever hit these race times today tomorrow next week or year and guess what everyone knows you can't !!!!!
His races times are D- so i can see your point there is no way he will ever hit races times to show us he could run a 3:11 marathon
Ok, I take back my Hi Mike quip. However, you are not using all the evidence.
If you use #1777 as a reference, he crossed the line at about +:23 after the gun. there is no way that your guy took 7 or 8 seconds to cross a line less than 10 feet in front.
Remember, if we are going to find MR at the starting line, he needs to be +:31 behind the gun.
Look I agree that he cheated, we both have a hard time figuring out what some blurry background shot of a on it looks like.
In regards to you second comment:

I would say with the right training I could hit those times you suggested.

It's also pretty incredible how his sides aren't wet. It certainly appears he just dumped a bottle of water on himself but the more plausible answer is that he just has the most incredible sweat glands. His muscles just soaked the sweat up instead of it getting into his shirt.
Mike is part sponge.
5K PR is actually 17:48, I had to run as another runner at a race because the coach screwed up our chips. Here is the kid I ran as, and clearly there is no way he ran that time. As you should be able to tell.http://pa.milesplit.com/athletes/4531641-ryan-scheuer/feed
Feel free to contact me people and I'll see what I can do about releasing more photos and videos but the problem is my editor and the race director, they both have a vested interest in the race and convincing them is the problem, probably contacting them directly is better, I only do what they tell me.
All the best

I can understand your editor having reservations, but if you are really Harry Fisher, the Race Director has no say or should have no bearing on your decision or ability to release the raw video, unless the race paid for you to take the video, which is I highly doubt. You are the media and as such, you are not beholden to the race or any other entity. It is called freedom of the press. Yes, your editor or boss, if you were working for mcall, as they are ultimately the owner of the video.
Harry has received a phone call in regard to sharing the raw footage of the start. We shall see.

Your news organization could blow open a worldwide story. This is the Watergate of running. It's Rossigate. I just thought of that and copyrighted it. If you use it you owe me a royalty.
Do the right thing since Mike Rossi won't.
I'm still intrigued and still confused. What do you think you're going to find in the raw video of the starting line? MR not crossing it?

And just so everyone knows, the independent investigation will be following up with Harry on Monday. Because we all know this post could be from Rossi himself so that nobody actually follows through with contacting him.
My apologies to RossiCheated if you are legit. But you've seen the shenanigans that Rossi and his DJ minions have been causing with this thread.
So now you are an expert in running sweat patterns Ken? It's not like the type of sweating you experience after eating a whole drum of Buffalo wings.
This the 4th time you've said something about his sweat pattern.
If you weigh 300lbs and haven't run a 5k fun run in your life stop commenting on exercise and race timing please.
Let the runners do that (ie 99% of people here).
Thanks.

Video doesn't lie. There is zero lapse in coverage. It's 30 frames per second. Rossi can't claim the photographer didn't do his job properly. He's either there or he's not.
The good thing is that a good videographer will shoot more than needed and leave it to the editor to figure out what to use.
Rossi started the race 31 seconds after the gun. So if this guy filmed more than a minute Rossi is toast.

BS that this is Harry Fisher posting, but I do encourage someone mature to contact him.
At the start we'll probably only see Rossi waddling by but maybe we'll get lucky and see him duck out or act suspicious after crossing the line. If nothing else I'd like to see more than a head shot photo of him at the start.
more importantly, he may have a continuous video stream from later in the race at a time when Mike would have had to run by. Looks like he filmed at a pretty narrow spot where people are running through the grass.
Can't believe some of that course, btw. It looks like something the hash would setup rather than a marathon with a couple thousand people.

And trust Ken on this: he's an expert on video and time lapses.

What's going on? This was all covered thousands of posts ago.
The photo record proves he cheated. We knew that over a month ago.
You're not helping.
