Apparently the lawyer, if indeed one exists, also did not recognize the Animal House quote. Not very sharp for a lawyer. Has probably dropped the case out of sheer embarrassment.

As the one who made the revised quote, I both thought that and stated it here several times. Most importantly, it was never a threat. However, I do believe he has/had a "lawyer".

We are ahead of schedule for 6/20 7K
339 posts over last 24 hours +- v. 158 posts previous 24 hours
Twice as much activity. If this pace holds 10k posts by July 1.
I still think it slows and we hit 10k around this years LVM.
6/18 am: 7244 posts
222 posts over last 24 hours v. 339 6/17 v. 158 6/16
the pace is still faster than 2 days ago but slower than yesterday
tomorrow and the weekend will tell the tale
I think a general slowing is occurring.
10000 posts by September's LVM is still on track
6/19 am : 7418 posts
couldn't do the count in the morning as I had to work, but using 11:00 as cut off time we get 7418 posts
so 174 posts over last 24 hours v. 339 v. 158 v. 222 and now 174
FAILING THREAD ALERT: only 10 posts from over last 4 hours = pace for 60 posts by tomorrow am assuming pace holds
Friday night and Saturday morning are going to slow down, we may be lucky to get 50 posts by 11:00 am tomorrow
COUNT WARNING:
I am not going to count LoserMIkeRossi's posts anymore unless they refrain from referencing terrorist attacks, familymembers of anyone, and general nonsense. It just seems wrong to count those towards the thread total anymore. I will count his posts so long as they refrain from that. Also because it is a running forum, I will not count his posts unless he runs or attempts to run 1 mile on the local track and posts his time here by Sunday evening. Not trying to be mean, there just have to be some standards for the post count. To be fair I will not count posts attacking Ken/LoserMikeRossi either.
Overall the thread is dying down, if you want it to hit 10000 posts then people need to bring some purpose and creativity to their posting. Think before you post.
Have a great weekend.

Mike is quoted in this article that he has spoken to a lawyer.
"A lot of things they've said on these blogs are slanderous," he said. "Believe me. I've seen them, and I've spoken to my attorney about them. I don't need to prove anything to anybody, because I didn't cheat. It's easy to go on a website anonymously and make comments."
http://www.phillymag.com/news/2015/05/05/did-boston-marathon-dad-mike-rossi-cheat/It IS very easy to go on a website and make comments. But it's even easier to hop in your car and drive 26.2 miles instead of actually running it, which is what you signed up for, douche nozzle.

Yes, I know, and I received an email from Weldon indicating that they were contacted by Mike's lawyer. I am pretty sure that he made sure that the person claiming to be his lawyer was in fact his lawyer. Way too many nutty conspiracy theorists here, or at least you are giving Mikey way too much credit for being able to fake being a lawyer.
for example this new post of yours sets out nothing new and uses bad language to poor effect, it will not count towards the count
feel free to post however you do, but the thread is dying and needs something new and refreshing

It is coming. I am on it. Working on a few things, but since some of us do work, the bulk of it will be done this weekend. But stayed tuned.

Which one of the brojos assigned you this position to monitor the post count and determine if they are relevant or not? I will email them personally and an confirm this. I would think if they have an issue with what I have been posting so far they would have reviewed it and banned my IP address.
Some people, including myself, are actually engaged in an investigation. While there are many on here who read the facts and called Mike a cheater or douche and aren't really doing anything besides increase the count.
And then there is Mike and his minions trying their best to get you all to think there is nothing more that can be done and you should all just accept his cheating and go about your merry lives, and he will do so as well.
But we know there was no investigation by the RD. And that's why people are following up and doing it for them. And we are closer than any of you, or Mike, or the minions actually think we are.
Semper fi "Always Faithful"
Is there anyway to get satellite footage of the area for the race date in question? Would be funny to see Mike's car traveling down the interstate while the race was going on. He'd say someone else was driving it but then that person could be questioned about it under oath. I doubt anyone is going to commit perjury to continue the charade of Mike's little 3:11 marathon claim.

Busted for what? Stop being such a Rossi.
Investigation. What have you investigated other than the buffet table?
So we now know that Ken is using multiple aliases on this thread. Ken - please stop with the personal attacks and stick the facts and evidence that we do know.

Omg, here we go again. Poster of Statistics, keep up the good work. I am not sure who died and left Ken to think he runs this forum, but as stated earlier, he needs to stop trying to bully everyone who doesn't do things his way. For some reason he thinks only certain posts should be allowed here all while he hurls nothing substantive except bringing in spouses, children and work issues. On top of it, earlier this a.m. he references 9/11 and now he thinks he a Marine. The zingers one could toss about with that.

So long as the post isn't deleted, I don't think your criteria has any effect on the #10,000. Even this one counts toward 10k

He probably "hired" a family or friend who is a lawyer to throw their name around, nothing more.

No doubt. Agreed.

In all seriousness, would any store close enough to the highway have survailance footage from that day in their possession. I'm thinking most likely before or after ho got off the highway, I'm just not that familiar with the area. Also, not sure they get enough info out of it to confirm that its in fact Rossi's car.

A few questions:
1. So is the answer yes?
2. Has he previously cheated before or was this his first attempt?
3. Has he admitted cheating or made a public comment? What is his reason for such a fast marathon compared to his other times?
4. Any chance of an article like the Kip thing?
5. Kip has to be loving this right now.
