Motive much? wrote:
Well Kenneth Stillman obviously has motive to trash Rossi. He's a competitor (if you want to call him that), who has publicly admitted working with Rossi. He (Stillman) is also someone who ripped off dozens of clients and got caught, then tried to play the victim.
Did he hurt you in some way Ken?
As far as "every teach and parent" are talking, etc....Rossi's letter went viral because the majority of people agreed with him. This "cheating" scandal has not gone viral because;
a). no one cares
b). no one believes it.
c). realizes it comes from people with a personal vendetta
I really hope Rossi runs into you in the field.
I'd pay to see that.
Competitor? No. My videos are much different than Mike's and anybody in the wedding video industry knows there is plenty of work to go around.
Did not work with Rossi. I filled in a half dozen times when he was overbooked. Once even on less than 24 hours notice. Trying to do another wedding vendor a favor.
I have never denied the issues I had with delivery times. But I made good on every client. I am not proud that I wasn't properly prepared to handle the volume of work that I took on. I'm not a businessman. I am an artist at heart.
Ironically enough our falling out came from him accusing me of sleeping at a wedding with no proof. So it seems the shoe is now on the other foot. The truth? His DJ was using a bass bin on a dance floor no larger than my master bedroom and it was ear crushing. So I sat in the lobby, away from the noise, and was texting my girlfriend - looking down at my phone, of course. The only thing going on was dancing, and no couple wants to watch 2 hours of dancing. So I film at various points of the night.
BTW - Mike and I had passed paths a few times a year for about 8 years, and he has seen my work and knows I don't sit in the ballroom all night. So if he was wasn't cool with how I worked he shouldn't have asked me to fill in to begin with.
I know Mike and I will be at the same wedding eventually. It's almost inevitable. In fact I worked with two guys from East Coast just last year. Jobs that I specifically recommended them for because it was another wedding professional and her sister's wedding a few months later. And I had always told brides to check out East Coast when I met with them and they hadn't booked anybody yet. Obviously I would no longer after we had a spat. But that's really Bob's lose and not Mike's.
If you want to pay us to see us work together at a wedding I would be happy to take your money and donate it to charity. But I think you'll be as disappointed as everyone was with the latest Mayweather match. I can honestly say that Mike is a total pro on the job and would never risk his reputation or standing with a couple or a hall just to take a swing at me. And I certainly wouldn't either.
