Are most of the posts in defense of Rossi that we've seen in the past couple of weeks from the cheater himself?
Nope. They're from:
1) Supporters who legitimately think Rossi did not cheat
2) People who hate the posters who spent way too much time thinking/talking/posting/linking about Rossi
3) People who just like to argue for the sake of arguing
4) Trolls who try to keep the thread going
5) Occasionally Mike Rossi himself will chime in with some drivel too.
It is hard to differentiate between the different people and their motives. Those who stick with a reserved username are easier to figure out after they make some blatantly BS statement that even Mike Rossi himself would not make so Poe's Law no longer applies to them.
But others are pretty crafty and make it close to impossible whether we're really dealing with Mike Rossi or someone who posts like Mike Rossi would with the addition of berating other users and succumbing to name calling. Maybe Mike Rossi himself does that too, I don't know, it's hard to tell.
Children, lets not feed the trolls.
I'm not buying anyone as Rossi unless they create a proper account that they will only use to post and can tell me from that account on what date they were kicked out of the Dopey Challenge Group? If you don't have the answer then you're a troll and I have no time for you.
I've been through all the posts I've missed now and have added any new evidence to the spreadsheet.

I for one am stating now that I won't take part in any personal attacks on any person or business and I will not hound anyone that people think owe us answers. This should be an investigation for the truth but it's becoming a witch hunt which undermines anything we might achieve.
Tony Rigdon am I ok to share your youtube video? I think this is the strongest evidence to date

Ha... I apologize then.
I really could care less honestly but I am amazed at the hatred on this thread if you give an opinion....
I guess I know when to leave. lol
I wanted to hear what you think constitutes overwhelming proof of Rossi's cheating.
I am not surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised.
6) a self-confessed idiot who has just enough control of the English language to devise silly posts which simultaneously insult and/or mock both the fervent posters and more importantly Mike himself.

I think this thread will go past 5750 posts.

Better make sure the kids can get off from school first. ;-)
Definitely ok to share the video!
https://youtu.be/DxKfEiOfGmYA guy who can only manage a 22 minute 5K, a 1:40 1/2 marathon did not run 3:11 for a full marathon. Especially since he thinks 15-20 miles a week at age 47 is training his ass off. He just started running 17 months prior to LV.

This is actually a great group that I am not going to add tons of people to just so they can argue with others...
Can you add me?
I would recommend that you do NOT add this person. His posts have been vindictive and irrational on this thread and appears to be out to ruin Rossi's career.
Also, he sued an RD because of a lack of water stations. ????

I apologize, I have not read through the thousands of posts, so I am sure to be troll bait, but has Mike Rossi actually said somewhere that he plans to run Chicago? I just though that race was tough to get into and didn't he say he tore his labrum? That doesn't heal fast enough to be marathon training?
And, the other thing, is it true that his job is really a wedding DJ? I know he's like 47 so I'm sure this is also likely a troll joke from that Adam Sandler movie, but there are just far too many posts to sort out this stuff.

I'm not reading any more of your posts. Resorting to calling posters children is so demeaning.

Why does it matter? We don't want to confuse a dishonest cheat from an honest runner with the same name.

Vindictive? Irrational? Ruin Rossi's career? Where? When? Feel free to quote me to substantiate those pretty serious claims! Actually I dare you!
As for the Fort Worth Marathon fiasco, I sued the RD for breach of contract and fraud and the judge found in my favor so I got plenty of vindication on that one. If you think that collecting six figures for a shitty race under the premise of a charity and not provide water for 12 miles on a marathon course in 70 degree weather two years in a row is acceptable behavior then I'm sure you're also OK with people cheating in a race. Sometimes somebody has to stand up and do something. My suit was not about money. It was about the principle and given the verdict and the outcome, proper water stations the following year, it was worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Gotta love that reasoning ... I profess that I didn't cheat, therefore I don't have to prove I didn't cheat. That's fine Mike, have it your way. But until you can prove you didn't cheat, 99% of rational people are 100% sure you did cheat.
Prove that you didn't.

Right! If you really know how to read between the lines of a PR statement, all the RD said was they we did not have proper safeguards in place to catch a cheater and Mike Rossi slipped through the cracks. But we promise to make sure it doesn't happen next year because we are putting down more mats and hiring a video guy.
There is NOTHING in that statement that says Mike Rossi ran that race.
