This thread is now about 275 comments away from the number in Down Goes The Dow, which I truly thought would not happen, even as it was passing the 3000-comment point.

I concur and agree to your statement. The people who are posting here are one chromosome away from being Mike Rossi or worse.

This makes no sense at all. Does Mike Rossi have an extra chromosome? Is that what makes him invisible to camera's?

Is that the thread with the most comments in Letsrun's history?
I can feel Rossi's ego swelling again, lol... I guess, if you're going to be a douchebag, be the biggest one you can be.
Thanks for the article, Doubler!
Who cares

Mike Rossi is a scumbag lying cheat. He is also not me.
Not please try putting on your thinking cap before posting anything else.
Seriously, just out of curiosity, what part of suggesting that there is no great "mystery" here and that folks on here do not know each other or why other posters are or are not active could possibly make you think that I must be Mike Rossi? That's truly bizarre.
Please do not use "Chief" as a sarcastic perjorative. I said I would post no more forever on this thread, but now I must come back to protect heritage. I will be silent no more forever.
Point Taken.
Good Point.

Hi Mrs. Rossi

I realize this is now no longer about MR, but whatever, we may as well keep posting where the posts count!
Are you certain of this? I tried to make a stupid reply on a stupid 5 post thread with a stupid spur of the moment username once and got the message "you have been blocked from posting on these forums." I tried a couple times and failed, and then went back to my usual two names with no problems since.
Is it feasible they can do either and/or both? So if a username IS registered, they can block it and if I just happened to try it, it said it was blocked without IP recognition?
This is an honest question, I am curious for more than assumptions or hearsay.

It sounds to me like you used a naughty word in your username, which was why it was rejected. You can't post as a registered user either (without logging in as that person), but you would get a different message for that.

I was part of the group that looked up all of the photos and proved Rossi wasn't on the course. I went to post last night from home and Letsrun had me blocked which is crazy. I'm assuming Rossi's lawyer is forcing Letsrun to block any poster who helped prove he cheated to get us off the boards.
I know you cheated Mike and you weren't on the course because the images prove it. You are what's wrong with the world and your lawyers should feel ashamed for protecting a scum bag like yourself.
I have helped with the pics as well. No ban on my side. And I use the same computer on the same network every day.
There's a chance the poster above was banned, maybe. Who knows, letsrun has some weird regulations. There's also the possibility that this is just another troll making stuff up. I would give a 8/10 for this one.

Mike Rossi is going to wish he had been DQ'd and could have just moved on!

I wrote a comment on their page questioning my ability, or lack thereof, to trust that they don't employ people who cheated to get their medical qualifications. They deleted that post.
Are we not allowed to question how they screen and make sure that their employees have the credentials they claim? What if they say they went to school for 3 years but nobody every saw them in class or even heard of them? Do they care?
Hard to believe the RD is going to take this backlash over *this* guy. I have to think they really didn't understand the severity of the situation in runner's eyes, from those working hard to BQ and especially those who had a BQ but still not fast enough to be accepted (and why the 3:11 was more insurance). I wonder if Rosie Rossi had run a 2:59 if that would have changed the RD's mind? I suspect not but the outrage may have been kicked up a notch.

I wouldn't post on the health network's page. They have nothing to do with DQ decisions. Post on the marathon's page instead.
This thread is a great source oft entertainment! I have a job that is mentally demanding and when I come home I love to chill out to this tale.
I heard from a reliable source that Mr. Rossi has now doubled his mileage. I think some people may be surprised by the time he runs in Chicago.
Here's the course map, I'm sure he's lickin' his chops.http://assets.chicagomarathon.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/2013-Course-Map.pdfWhat happened to his injury? An equally miraculous recovery?
