You made this up out of thin air. It's simply not true.
In any event, I don't think anything here could qualify as defamatory EVEN IF he produced proof that he didn't cheat. Nobody here is claiming to have first hand knowledge based on private information. People are simply calling him a cheater based on their interpretation of available evidence. Those are non-actionable statements of opinion. (If, on the other hand, someone said, "I saw Rossi cut the course at such and such a place," and it later turned out to be false, that would be defamatory.)
