The Nike+ watch can also be used with a foot pod. If we know his email someone can try to login to his Nike+ account. The password is probably mikerules or boston2015.
Not any more. He's reading the thread, remember? It probably changed today.

Not saying he cheated or not, but that inference from training runs is pure horse manure. People can run their training runs way too fast.
Sure whatever you say Kip.
Crazy that the IP address from M. Rossi's email confirms that he was the one posting on here other all those aliases

Does anyone have the IP's from the fake accounts?

Wejo, Rojo,
I know there's a darn good reason for this, but guide me to water:
Why are you not advertising this thread/story on the front page?
Those are good.

SaraB can you add a screen cap of that post to your spreadsheet? This is amazing stuff. Mike Rossi was here all along reading our thread in tandem with all of us.

I do believe this quote from MR
"I know it may be a little bit of a reach, to qualify for the world's greatest marathon in only my second year of running. But I am going to do whatever I can to qualify for the Boston Marathon"

Could it be one of those "ID on the Run" type of things? I have a friend with one of those, looks similar but hard to tell...
"I learned more about pacing/splits/training in five days being the subject of a letsrun.com investigation than I did from a years subscription of runner's world"

So Jeff Bridges gets the lead? The Dude Lehighs
(To Lehigh = pull a Rossi Ruiz)
I don't know if this is on the photo spreadsheet, but I looked at all the pictures of the half marathon participants who finished after Rossi, and he doesn't show up in any of those pictures, either. There are several pictures showing marathoners passing the slower half marathoners. Two marathoners I spotted in different pictures finished in 2:58 and 3:17.
These slower walkers/runners may have seen something, so I hope the RD plans on interviewing them, too.
Maybe it should be "A Bridge Too Far" since he never made it there.
Cheat mats should from this day forth be called "Rossi mats."

Done :)
You should change the BAA shirt from this year to read "Not Rossi Ceritified" and put # 162 inside the bib.
Also today is the anniversary of the V-E day.

Uninterrupted sequential photos and no sign of him. Just to confirm - all runners were photographed on this bridge who finished the course within any kind of reasonable range around the time with which Rossi was credited? No one else was missed? That seems to be one of the hardest pieces of evidence. Lots of other good stuff, but that's excellent. Nice work.
Everyone who finished within 10 places of Rossi appears on the bridge. That is the second photo check point after the start. So all runners who finished within 10 paces of Rossi were photographed at the first checkpoint between 7:48 and 7:52 AM. All runners who finished within 10 places of Rossi were also photographed at the second checkpoint between 7:56 and 8:01. They remained in roughly the same order with a few people moving up.

Just throwing it out there....
Could he have started from the half-marathon starting line?
1) buy a racing bib from a participant who' selling the bib.
2) Remove half marathon chip.
3) place marathon bib underneath shirt.
4) run slow until the marathon packs catches the half marathoners
5) hit the potty and change bibs.
NO KIDDING.The guy is an ego maniac and probably a psycho.Of course he has been reading all along, he loves the attention you're all giving him.

No. His chip crossed the starting mat of the full so it had to make its way from the start to the finish one way or another.
