4th place for Hamilton. Was this their greatest race ever?

The course Hamilton ran on is definitely short. Their number 1 is a 31:35 guy, which is pretty solid. Their 2's PR in the 5k is 16:28... just let that sink in. Their 3 has run 32:05. Their 4 is mid 15's in the 5k and their 5 barely broke 16 in the 5k. None of these guys are sub 15 guys, and besides Pfander, none of them would make a varsity squad for the top 5 teams in the Cac. Hamilton will surely DFL this weekend.
...
Bijan seen puking post race. Hussein beat him good
Williams won nescacs last year too, then got 5th at regionals. Let them have their fun
..........you're suggesting regionals is more important to NESCAC teams than either NESCACs or Nationals?
I mean to be fair I think Williams ran regionals just to qualify for nationals because they performed much better at nats comparatively
Track times have nothing to do with xc. Hamilton's 1 today was the 17 minute 5k guy
Dude really? Some people are better cross runners than track runners, but being led by a 17 minute guy is pathetic.
Looks like NE region might only get 3 teams this year. If you lose to a team led by a 17 minute 5k guy then there is no spot for you at nats. Sorry Midd
Hamilton ran very well today. Don't use their success to put other teams down. Nice job today guys.
Great races by Nichols, O'Connor, and Decker. They really went after and it paid off

Regionals is much more important than NESCACs. Everyone knows that.
regionals is a qualifying heat for nationals - nothing more, nothing less. If you are a top team, you need to run well enough to qualify. If you are a bubble team, then regionals is everything. Teams that are focusing on NCAAs do not care if they win regionals. They only care that they qualify.
It is impossible that Hamilton's 17 minute 5k guy is actually a 17 minute 5k guy. Its mathematically impossible for him to run an 8k in the paces that hes run his last two races without breaking 17 en route at some point. Its unclear why hes so shitty at track or if tfrrs is just misrecording stuff.

Great argument for nationals being more important than regionals. Interesting that you made it in response to me saying regionals is more important than NESCACs.
Keene State lurking on a NESCAC thread?

My argument was meant to say that for a top team, regionals is not important. I went to a NESCAC school that comfortably made nationals. I would say that we cared slightly more about NESCACs than regionals.

Hamilton actually won the team title in 1988
What's the course record at Conn? Because Bijan and Mo are going to blaze this weekend.
24:32 set by Hornor earlier this season.

if either of them race hard it will be a mistake
