Really is a bummer that Keene St., USM, and Brandeis are not what they used to be.

It kind of is. It's not as exciting as it could be when Regionals is just another NESCAC Championship with MIT added to the field.
Keene has been falling off and they just lost their long time coach. USM is becoming more field/sprint oriented.
Anyway
anyone know where the bear is?
Bear is in Germany
I see Amherst as a legit threat for both the NESCAC and Regional titles. I know their history, but the last 2 years they've actually exceeded expectations at the big meets.
Losing Turissini hurts, but they will still have 2 low sticks in Hussein (xc AA, 10k AA) and Crowley (8th NESCACs, 10th Regionals).
Meijer's (32nd NESCACs, 26 Regionals) progression could be the key to their season. He's been solid, but unspectacular his first 2 years. Can he make the jump into a top 15-20 Regionals guy?
Craig Nelson (33rd NESCACs) had a stellar outdoor season. Ran 26:07 at Open NE's before fading at the end of xc.
the x-factor for the Jeff's are 2 rising Juniors, Steven Lucey and Kevin Connors. Lucey won ECACs (25:37) but struggled badly in both track seasons. Connors was 6th at ECACS (25:56) and ran 3:52 outdoors.
The pride williams takes in their little three streak is obnoxious. Someone please end it
Is Tully Hannan coming back to compete for Bates this year?
No.
Top 10 at regionals without freshmen.
Mazaheri - Clear favorite, 29:39 and almost National Champion. Peaked at the right times.
Chelimo - If healthy, will be the biggest threat to Mazaheri but will likely settle for second or third.
Deyo - AA in XC and 10k also a contender. 4th Place finish in 10k makes the decision to put Chelimo in front difficult.
Hussein - Another AA in XC and 10k can't predict lower than 4-5. 14:29 indoors as a frosh.
Wenck - MIA since XC, putting at 5th out of respect for 2014 Season. Is he running? Sub 24 at nationals, even if it was "short".
Nichols - Ran strong in the 10k at the end of outdoors with a 30:55. 9th at regionals last year.
Cattanach - Very versatile competitor with a 24:57 and AA in the 800. Ran consistently well in 2014 XC.
Eastman - Consistent runner at post season meets. Almost AA in XC. Will probably run better at Nats than at regionals thats why I have him behind Cattanach here.
Bosworth - Just missed Indoor Nats at 3k and Outdoor Nats at 1500, is due for a good XC season.
Godwin - AA in XC. 4:11 indoors but no outdoor season. Potentially puts 3 in the top 10 for MIT but they'll will finish second.
Stud freshman can obviously mix it up.
watch when this isn't right at all.
I don't think Wenck is competing - didn't he graduate?
Yeah, this probably won't be completely right, but given the information we have at this point it looks like the most probable list.
Is Chelimo healthy? If so I feel like he could contend for the national individual title. The kid beat Cotton last year
Oh my! Barron leaves tufts to go to Williams!
Wonder why he left...How will this play out for Tufts?
Remember when Williams got 4th on their own course at regionals?
LOL.
Also, if the runners at Williams are as smart as they think they are, they better leave the bear in Williamstown for Little 3s. Rumor has it that booby traps are already operational in the field loop designed to capture the slowest Ephs and hold them for ransom.
Lord Jeffs forever.
Remember when another NESCAC team got on the podium at NCAAs?
LOL
Sorry, maybe I missed something, but since when did anyone care about Regionals? I thought it was just a qualifier for the dance?
Remember when Jamie Norton ran the mile in 4:06?

But he rides a horse better n' that, and in the summers he hunts wild boar with his grand-pappy. Sometimes employin' a weapon, sometimes not.
Jamie Norton ran the mile in 4:06 and Tufts still couldn't get on the podium??? Williams has done it 6 times - it can't be that hard...
