Right around 15:10 pace at 3k. Still a pretty solid line of runners behind kipyego, but gaps starting to form.

Kipyego goes back by Saina (trading off laps?) Hall looking pretty comfortable in 3rd. O'COnnell not letting them go, and someone behind her in 5th also sticking with them.
Kipyego, Olympic silver medalist in the 10k, Saina, another former NCAA champ and 1439 pr. Hall in 3rd, graduated last year with a breakout season and outdoor ncaa 5k win, now a great transition to the pros if she hangs here.
A bit of a gap after Hall, O'Connor and I think Koster in 4-5. Chase pack Katie Mackey, Nicole Tully, a couple others a bit back from them.
Kipyego and Saina gapping the field, 12:05 at 4k
Kipyego and Saina 1205 at 4k and Hall has had to let them go. Scott has fallen well back. Kipyego starting to put the hammer down, Saina laboring a bit to stay with her.
Now a big lead for the top 2. Hall caught by Koster and O'Connell who are starting to kick. 4-woman chase pack about 10-15m behind them.
Kipyego just ran a 71ish, coming down to a lap to go. Saina still hanging tough.
Looking like 14:50's are possible for the leading two (kipyego & saina)
Hall is rallying in the chase pack, Tully closing the gap to that chase pack. Saina challenging Kipyego a bit on the backstretch with 250 to go.
Kipyego responds and changes gears, gaps Saina. Saina still pushing but Kipyego stretching it out.
Great close by Kipyego over the final 300, really dominant.
Props to teddy as well. You two should go into biz doing play by play and color commentary together
Kipyego goes 1457, Saina about 1500, Tully with a huge kick (and last mile) takes 3rd in 1505, O'Connell, Koster, Hall 1509, Heiner 1511, Twell 1513. Mackey, Onishi, Hanglin, Higginson, Tonn, Brichacek, Garcia, Mori 1520. Bizzarri, Scott, Finn around 1530. D'Agostino 1542.
Hall with a 3 second PR. Nice!
Apparently a 5k debut for Tully who had a great last 1k for 3rd in 15:05. Hall looked like she belonged up front, and even when she started fading, rallied to compete with the second pack. Fans of D'Agostino might've hoped for more, but don't know what her health/injury status has been.
Men's 5k Section 1 is off. Not quite so large a field but still looks pretty big. Missed the 400, 600 split is 1:36
311 at 1200m. Single file.
Right on 13:20 pace at 1k. Lopez and Estrada up near the front behind the pacers.
Pacer is off, leader is Lee Emmanuel, is he pacing? Then Barrios.
Emmanuel, Barrios, Heath. 5:20 at 2k.
Emmanuel as the pacer, Barrios, Heath, Lomong, Estrada.
