I'd be shocked if she didn't look relaxed considering her nearest competitors finished ~10 seconds back...

I don't care really how she looked.
She ran 4:15. That's 15 seconds off what she needs to be running to be competitive in the world. We're talking at 12 midnight about a guy running the equivalent of a 406 mile?
She's got a lot of work to. Let's hope this was a workout. But what pace are you doing at 415 anyway?
She won by nearly 10 seconds. Now you see why she went pro.
Surprised she ran this race. She needed to get her confidence back but destroying people a few rungs below her tells us nothing. She closed in 66.9 but a 1500 at 67 second pace is 4:11.25.

So this is what she pulled out of Payton Jordan for?
Stepped off the track shortly after 3k about 10:00
2013: withdraws from high school competition and runs a full slate of professional races as an "amateur" high school runner. Makes WC final.
2014: goes "pro", but decides to focus on age group competition. Does win Jr. WC title at 3,000 meters.
2015: in second full season as a pro, decides to beat up on college runners in a low-key invite.
Let's hope that she isnt planning on running all-comers meets in 2016
Maybe charity 5Ks in 2017, followed by random walk-a-thons in 2018...
Okay. I took that a little too far. This is way early in the season. Let's see how the next couple of years go before jumping to too many conclusions.

Well played, coach d.

So winning a race with a crappy field means I can go pro!? Nice! I'll just ditch Drake and Stanford next year for some easy wins and a fat contract!

important to add that Geena Lara (Gall) paced the first 1200 so it was not like she was running alone.

Hopefully not for another 2 years and a day. Cain doesn't turn 21 until May 3, 2017!!
I guess they could have it in Canada or somewhere before then.
4.15? She isn't going to Beijing with this kind of form/time.
She would be lucky to win junior titles with this. Unless she drops nearly 10 seconds it's a wasted season. Rio now looking far from a certainty
Much better than her last race.
She'll be back to sub 4:10 form before end of June, I'm convinced. 100% sure that she'll qualify for the US trials.

Qualifying for the trials should be a given for someone her caliber. Nothing terribly exciting.
