Wow, didn't think there would be so much negativity, but this is Letsrun after all.
Heel-toe offset: the Pegasus has always had a relatively high differential between the heel and toe. The 31 and 32 are actually a bit more "flat" that past models. Not everyone runs in minimalist shoes.
Price: Yeah, I agree that it sucks, but if you go by the inflation calculator, the Pegasus that sold for $80 in 2000 should sell for $111.62 today, so it at least makes some sense. Protip: just buy last year's model. You can always find them at Nike outlets for $80, often less.
Durability: You never know until you wear them, but I've always found the Pegasus to be very durable. I've never got less than 500 miles out of any of the models.
Flywire: This is my only concern for the new model. I've always liked the Pegasus because it's a simple trainer. I don't need Flywire and other junk. But if it improves the fit (not that there was anything wrong with the fit of the 31), I'm on board.
Looking forward to trying these when they're discounted next year!
