I've been curious about the health benefits of fasting.. I've done some 24 hour fasts before and have currently been fasting around 36 hours. I feel like it also makes me more mindful and conscious of food. I have a bit of weight to lose but that isn't the first goal with fasting, but it does make me more conscious of food.
Has anyone tried extended day fasts? I will probably break my fast today as I plan on going for a run as well and I know running + fasting can be a bad idea (but these runs are short and easy).
