Schools these days feel entitled to introduce pre-teens to highly sensitive topics, such as suicide, genocide, anorexia/depression etc. While this may be a fashionable trend in education today, it is a questionable practice that may do more harm than good depending on the student's disposition and personality. Why not equip the parent with educational materials and encourage them to exercise their parental rights by educating and divulging whatever information they deem appropriate for their child?
