Impossible to say, really.
Based on your 8mi workout, you should be able to break 90mins, provided it was in the middle or toward the end of a training block...And also providing you've got a good amount of mileage under your belt. What have your long runs looked like?
When I first broke 90, i was averaging around 40 miles/week for the 8 weeks leading up to the race, with a couple of 15 mi long runs (with HMP mixed in). At that time, I would've never been able to run 8mi at HMP in training.That's a very tough workout.
Also other variables to keep in mind: What's the HM course like? Is it hilly? Are you used to running hills? Will you be with a pace team?
