Is grant Fischer done?
First outdoor track race of GF's season. Very impressive opener. First place was a 24 year old Polish runner ex collegian, second place - high school teenager and one of the best to come along in a long time.
First two posts obviously have issues that only they can sort out. Get out and train, get faster and with that some perspective on what it takes to be fast.
It's almost May and this is Fisher's first outdoor race?
Let's stop coddling our runners.

Clueless is, clueless was.
Obviously you don't know what you are talking about.
Wetzel will run the 4x8 before the 1600 M. That's how he is.
Fisher ran a dual meet - a check of athletic.net will tell you that
Fishers "coddlers" won't let him run the 4x8
Grant is entered in the Payton Jordon meet at Stanford next week with the big boys
Poorly worded subject light. Probably intentional.
Anet will show that he ran in the meet, but in actuality he only participated in the meet, he did not "run" in it. How does Grant Fisher whom recently ran 4:03 for the indoor mile at the Armory only run 1:59 and 2:00 for the 800 meters? That was not running, that was simply participating. He is already capable of sub-1:50 even at this stage of the season. It is his prerogative to run team relays or not, but that was not running.

Maybe he was tired.
Maybe it was the cold... Snow that day, windy and in the 40's. Smart move not to run hard in those conditions (theoretically) his first race outdoors and risk injury at a duel meet 3 days before running 3:46.
Get a clue and Relax. The kid doesn't have to break records, for others enjoyment, whenever he steps on a track.

Just Maybe he was running on "Broken Ankles" once again as he did at last year's State meet also! If you are going to run for your team, run for your team. Otherwise do not waste their time. Other athletes are running 1:53's and 1:55's in the same conditions, which he could do in his sleep. No one is talking about breaking records.
Sounds like you have issues man...
Did you not live up to everyone's expectations? Thought so.
Then why push your expectations of others on this message board?
Did you create the title of this thread? Very strange indeed.
