That gets Bolt a huge +1 in my book. Glad to see someone come out and make a common sense statement like that instead of hiding behind the typical PC-type statements. Wish more athletes would just be honest about stuff like this. Getting a clear anti-doping stance from many of the athletes might be some incentive to, you know, actually not cheat.
Stupid article.
Gay was lured in a trap.
It wasn't his fault. He trusted someone he should not have trusted.
Also, the fact that it was never revealed what exactly he tested positive for tells me it was probably just a contaminated supplement.
In the end, his muscles didn't grow by themselves, he put in the hard work in the weight room and his BUFF PHYSIQUE shows that it was worth it.
And I saw fairies dancing on the flowers in my garden this morning as well.
Yep. Gatlin should be banned too. They need a no tolerance policy. Drug cheats like Flo Jo, Carl Lewis, Maroid Jones, Gatlin, Gay, have made a mockery of this sport.

The ones like Bolt who will never get caught are the ones who have made a mockery.
In before another dumb@ss comparison to Lance Armstrong.

I agree
I wonder why Bolt did not say anything about Asafa or the other Jamaicans that got the same treatment as Gay.
Waiting for him to say something about Powell, Blake, Gatlin, Simpson, S-A F-P, Rogers, Crawford, Spearmon...
Oh wait, Bolt is just mad about Gay because Gay talked to authorities, and ratted out other dopers! A doper is Okay, snitches get stitches!
No, it's the morons like you who libel people without any evidence that make yourselves a mockery
SAFP never got any ban for PEDs. She got a suspension for failing to report a pain pill she took. I think you're confusing her with VCB.

She's got a great PHYSIQUE:

Bolt shouldn't be casting stones.

Nike feels the same way vis-a-vis Gatlin and Gay
You do know that a clean athlete can't put in the training load of a gear head? All of this hard work stuff is a smoke screen to PED usage. Let any gear head train clean and watch him have to take more recovery days off and not be able to put in two a day sessions.
Said the pot about the kettle.
Although Bolt has been golden and untouchable as the face of T&F, and although Diack had his hands down Bolt's pants for years as the corrupt scumbag he is, Diack is now over 80 and on his way out, and the IAAF may have run out of appropriate sacrificial lambs like Powell, Gay, and all of Russia, and even now Kenya.
It is probable that Bolt ended his heavy PED use after 2012, which is why he receded in 2013, and ended most of his PED use after 2013, which is why 2014 was a non-season for him, as the heat was turned up a bit on Diack from various quarters.
The question is whether he has used again in preparation for the 2015 season. It is possible that he has not, and was therefore able to deliver "only" a 10.12 in Rio. Yes, all sorts of excuses have been made for that time, but they are all b.s.--rain, slippery track and loose blocks (unverified), headwind (up to the determination of the "official" operating the wind gauge). We have seen him run super-fast on wet, rainy tracks, in the cold, in early May, etc.
While a 10.12 at this time of year is excellent, especially if there actually was a headwind, he didn't look great, and it is well off his historic early-season times, meaning that he might actually not have used in preparation for this season, or if he has, it hasn't been much. This is not to say that he won't use at some future time in 2015, because he probably will, depending on what other athletes are doing.
So it's not easy to say if he remains untouchable, or whether he is clean. One thing for sure, it is one of the two, given his statements.
What a joke, though.

I rememba at the press conferences Gay looked like he was sick and coming down with a cold from all the work he did and told of how tired he was.
