Hmmmm. Well, I suspect that some people might differ with you on that, Jose. Here are O'Neal's honors and accomplishments over the past three years, as copied and pasted from his UM webpage. Do a little research next time before you parade your ignorance:
Coaching Honors:
2014 USTFCCCA South Region Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year (Ole Miss)
Now in his third season at the helm of the Ole Miss track and field/cross country program, Brian O'Neal is guiding the Rebels to a new chapter of excellence.
Among the accomplishments since O'Neal was hired as head coach at his alma mater on June 12, 2012:
School's first team appearance at NCAA cross country championships (2014)
School's first NCAA cross country region championship (South Region Men's Champions in 2014)
Tied best SEC men's cross country finish in school history (2nd in 2014)
Best SEC men's outdoor finish since 1984 (5th in 2014)
Best NCAA men's outdoor finish in school history (8th in 2013)
Best SEC women's cross country finish in school history (4th in 2012)
In his first two seasons at the helm of the Ole Miss program, O'Neal led the Rebel men to top-25 national finishes at all four NCAA meets between the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons. That included a program-best eighth-place result at the 2013 outdoor meet, highlighted by sensational performances from pole vaulter Sam Kendricks and sprinter Isiah Young.
The cross country program has seen a dramatic improvement under O'Neal. Both the men and women have set or tied their all-time best SEC finishes, and the men won the NCAA South Region and advanced to their first ever NCAA Championships this past season.
