I am a junior, female, cross country runner and track runnwe( but I enjoy XC). I ran a best of 25 min 5k last year; dropping 5 minutes off my initial time at the start of the season. This track season I am able to run low 7min mile and a high 2 min 800. I have three months to reach my goal before next XC season. I am also very thin and hired a personal trainer to build muscle which people say would help with my speed.
What more should I do to reach my goal?
Is it even possible for me?
