I'm of European descent but want to take a page from the gender-transcendentalists and apply for jobs as a (white) Hispanic or of two or more races. Can I get away with it given that so many now refer to people who are not anatomically or physiologically ambiguous sexually as of the opposite gender?
Cut of your tallywhacker and wear dresses. Also apply for civil service jobs. The private industry is behind the times in hiring transgender people. Maybe you can apply to be Bruce Jenner's make up artist for his reality television series..

In most cases, what you write down as your race is separate from what the hiring manager sees as your application.
If they actually want to hire a minority they will have to do it by how you look or by your name.
So applying as a different race only helps after you get the job for their EEOC reporting. It doesn't help you get the job.
After any quotas are met, it's still more beneficial to be a white male to get a job.
Seemed to work out for Elizabeth Warren. Heck, the voters of Massachusetts elected her in as a senator.
Just lie like she did and claim native American heritage - easily explainable and nearly automatically hirable given the level of colonists-shame the liberal horde likes to pour on us.
You should have no trouble at all. If anyone complains then all you have to do is demand to know why they are asking about your race in the first place. If they push it, you still win because you can say you've got hispanic and black blood in you, and then ask them to prove you wrong. What will they do after that?
Remember to do your best to look like a victim.

But her actually being white helped her get jobs and votes.

They feel more comfortable with them and trusting of them.

That's not been my experience. I work in the high tech world where neither race, nor religion, nor nationality has anything to do with whether or not someone gets hired.
There are very few blacks or hispanics, but that's becuase there just aren't many in this field.
If what you say is true, then asians would struggle to get good jobs. I don't see that either.
They would take Blacks like you but having a felony conviction restricts the pool of applicants. Yes exposing yourself on the subway is a victimless crime(in your mind) but that does limit your ability to apply for jobs where felony convictions are restricted.

Ahhhhh yes, perhaps the whining of an advocate for a group long opposed to racial discrimination now advocating for it when he thinks it is to that group's advantage.
I myself think that lowering the bar for admissions or job offers shifts the focus from the causes (out-of-wedlock conceptions, bad schools, etc.) to the symptoms (academic and socioeconomic underperformance).
So if you were hiring someone to assist you in your current work would you:
a) be more likely to hire a white person - all other things equal
b) prefer to pick some minority - all other things equal
c) totally not notice the person's race or ethnicity

Lolz. It sucks to be treated differently because of the color of your skin . . . if 20 years of it makes you cry foul then can you imagine how centuries of it would make you and your community feel?
Not necessarily saying it's right, but I find it ironic that [white] people want who want equal treatment in being hired can't see that minorities have felt the same way but for much longer.
Personally, I'd rather be white then have affirmative action.

Not at all. If she had been black and said exactly the same things and behaved the same way she would have been POTUS long ago. Just like if Obama had been white he would have been a nobody.
Europeans by definition are dual raced mixed mutt Caucasoids (Persia) and Asians (India/China).

If you're truly serious (yes, I know, trolls rarely are), get your surname legally changed. I recommend something that's easy for Anglos to spell and pronounce, without any accent marks--"Ortega," maybe.
