I have an appointment to see the sports medicine Dr. in a couple weeks, so no need to tell me to do that. I just want some advice on what this might be so that I can talk to her about it and maybe bring up some possibilities that she will shoot down. Had symptoms beginning the day after a short run.
Symptoms:
Inside of knee, but not the knee, is very painful. Can not run and walk with a limp. I can go up stairs, but the biggest problem is that it hurts when I fully extend. If I walk any distance over about 100 meters, my hip on the same leg gets tired, and my calf starts to cramp.
Nerve issue? Tendon or ligament strain or tear? What is over on the inside of the knee that gets injured? IT band is on the other side.
