Tortoise, Hereford, Odysseus, and other Boston runners - hope you had a restful week and are ready for a great day of running tomorrow.
And one week to go for Pikachu. I can't say enough how inspiring it has been watching your buildup from where you started in the late summer up until now. Super excited to see how you do, but more impressed already with the joy and passion you have re-discovered to match your massive talent.

Another building week for me. Legs are starting to come around. My appetite has been crazy since racing the HM last month, so I am not surprised that I have put on a few pounds the last couple weeks. I am not worried, as I am sure I will sweat it off as I up the mileage and the temps increase.
The track session was faster than last week, although I had to deal with a nice 10-15mph wind this time. Consequently, the “odds” with the headwind were a little slower, the “evens” with the tailwind were a little faster. I will probably add a second quality workout this upcoming week, maybe some hill repeats or a fartlek, we'll see.
Hope everyone else had a great week.
