So I'm currently a sophomore girl in high school, and this is my first year doing spring track. I used to run lots in 7th grade but due to medical reasons had to stop and only really got back into it this spring. However i have been going to a gym and lifting for roughly 5 months.
We've had 2 meets so far, and i've ran the 100 in both. The first meet my time was 17.1 (basically it was raining and the track was super wet and i didn't have spikes and it was an all around bad situation)
and then we just had another meet a few days ago and my time was 15.9.
Do you think it is realistic for me to achieve a sub 15 time (preferably low 14's) in the next 7-8 weeks we have left in the season?
And what workouts could I do? Preferably ones where a track is not needed as i can only have access to the track during practices after school, and i'm on break right now so i won't have the track for the next 10 days.
Any help would be great! Thank you in advance!
