Could also add rec cyclists to the list. The ones who think any bike under $1,000 is a piece of junk & not worthy to ride 2 miles to the grocery store.

Go complain to mommy instead, okay? This is a forum for RUNNING, not stupid questions like this
I find running shoephiles most irksome
I've never seen a bike for under 1000 in my whole life.
Where do you live?
North korea?
They are all least annoying relative to OP.

I'd never spend anything more than $500 on a bike.
To answer the original question - don't hipsters fall into all of these categories in one way or another? I guess it's just now becoming un-hipsterish to like Apple (you know, since they're really successful and a corporate giant).

You're joking, right? The Trek road bike I currently ride was purchased new for under $600. It's aluminum and low end components, but it rides great. Have thousands of miles on it. It's less than 10 years old, so yeah, they do (or did) exist.
whiners
Craft beer fairies are the worst. They tend to have neck beards.

I actually have Apple products & like them. I'm annoyed by the fanboys who bash any product that's not Apple & whenever someone asks what cell, tablet, laptop, desktop to get, the fanboy automatically recommends Apple even if the budgets far less.

Yeah, this is exasperated by the Anti-Apple fan boys who hate all things Apple for simply being from Apple. Getting an Apple fan boy and an Anti-Apple fan boy in the same room is terrible...
guys who whine about not having gfs annoy me the most

Same goes for beer snobbery. People who insist that their Budweiser is the best beer on the face of the planet and believe that anyone who drinks craft beer is pretentious are every bit as insufferable as the more traditional brand of beer snob.
I'm not going to tell you that you have to drink craft beer, so please spare me your "real men drink Bud" schtick.
You wouldn't spend a few day's pay to buy a bike which you trust your life with? You guys are so cheap it's amazing.

Here is a hint: exasperated =/= exacerbated

Thanks - always mix those two up.

Does falling on a $5,000 bike hurt less than falling on a $800 bike?

No, but failing to stop in time on a bike with crappy caliper brakes hurts a lot more than stopping in time on a bike with good disk brakes.

Ok - so, put good disk brakes on the $800 bike?
