Who?
A rock is solid.
Common mishearing. It is actually "She loves me like Iraq." This makes much more sense. I trust the meaning is obvious.

His version is based on an original gospel piece. In the Bible, Isaiah, the Savior (Jesus) is referred to as the Rock of Ages, from which humanity's life is founded/given. He's using a metaphor to emphasize the love being similar to the bond Christians have with their Savior.

2.6/10
Points for working Christianity in there...always good for an argument. But otherwise it seems forced and obviously contrived.
I'm sorry that you have never known the true and unselfish love of a rock or you would understand what Paul Simon meant.
It means she didn't love him at all.
Does not move... in bed
Dude was smoking a J when he was underage. Probably did some mushrooms too. Rock was a hallucination.
No he is a rock.
He is an island.
This song is making reference to the B-52's hit Rock Lobster. Paul Simon is a well known fan of lobster and to love someone like a rock (lobster) is an ultimate compliment. When Simon toured with the '52's the two group would sing this song together for a group encore.

Paul Simon is Jewish. Where did you come up with this one?
She's a big Def Leppard fan and loves him as much as she loves the song "Rock of Ages".
Rock refers to the stone covering the Holy of The Hollies in the Temple of Jerusalem, which is a reference to the song "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" by the band of the same name.

He's a rock on an island.
No man is an island.
It refers to the same as AC/DC's "Hard As A Rock".
OP is probably a distance runners low on testosterone so we shouldn't be too hard on him for not understanding this.
It's "loves me like Iroc." Paul Simon loved his 1985 Camaro.
