Somewhat questionable but perhaps good.
Overcast and quite cool. Potential for rain in the pm but may hold off.

Is the wind location mean it is from or to that direction?

I know it's really hard, but you need to relax.
Start checking Friday at the earliest and even then you aren't going to know until Sunday.
Good luck.
Boston weather tends to be mor mercurial than other places. It's too far out. Read the reports, but wait until Friday or Saturday before making decisions based on them.
Nice, a solid 12mph tailwind this year. Too bad Hall is out this year, this could have been his race, so god wanted to.

Nah, he would have sacrificed himself for someone else and he would have been the biggest reason for the win.
Look at these NWS maps and you'll get an idea of what's ahead.
In order the links are:
Current, then projected 12, 24, 36 and 48 hour maps, and then for 3-6 days ahead.
The Monday map shows a high to the east of Boston after some unsettled weather over the weekend. Looks like good clear weather with little wind Monday. So... so far so good.

Credit where credit is due. Yes, Ryan did his part by stopping the other Americans from chasing down Meb, but Meb also ran a great race. Meb would have still finished Top 3, which would have been great by itself.
Uh....OK.
recommend changing your hpc to wpc in your addresses. The organization now is wpc, so the hpc website may not work forever.
Every single weather source I've checked has a 10-15 mph headwind for the entire race. Any experienced Boston Marathoners have any ideas about how impactful this would be? Is the course pretty shielded from the wind?
You'll feel the headwind, less so in the early stages but much more so from Boston College (mile 21) to the finish as you head into the city.
Unless I'm reading this wrong, the wind is from the east, making it a tailwind.
It is still a headwind for 26.2 miles. That affects the race.

Um... Hopkinton is west of Boston, so breezes from the east are headwinds.

Hurricane winds! All times are 8 minutes faster than legit.

You read it correctly, however you lack basic comprehension skills based on your analysis. Runners will be running from west to east. The wind will be blowing from east to west. Therefore, the runners will be running INTO the wind, aka headwind.

That'll only help those people who plan to run back to their cars in Hopkinton.
