Any suggestions?
Daniels has an on-line program.
Tons of others. Many to choose from.
Check out runningprs.com. Tom Schwartz, aka Tinman, writes programs for people. I am a masters runner, and under his coaching, I ran masters PR's in every event from 400 to 5K. I coach high school as well and use his methods with very good success with my teams.
Ill check out runningprs, any other suggestions are welcomed
Barry Magee.
Sage Canaday's website is the way to go. "Sage Training". And his race results are proof of the effectiveness of the program.
unfortunately sage isn't taking any more clients, was the first place i went however.
Try Janet Hamilton, Running Strong.
Googhle this and you will get the information about her services.
It depends on a lot of factors, including your age (open vs masters) where you live, your racing distance, your level of competition, and how much coaching you need (running program vs personal coaching)
1) Rick Becker--a great runner, great masters runner, coach, nice guy and writes a good running program
2) Run SMART (Daniels)
3) McMillan
Looking for an actual coach to work with for competitive racing 1500/Mile/5k
Run Smart and McMilian are computer generated run programs, not something for me, but probably pretty good in their own right.
Ill check out Rick.
Keep them coming.
McMillan programs are not computer generated. There are several coaches who will write up a customized plan for you or offer personal coaching services for a higher fee.
Try Nate Houle:

I think 1500-5k coaching would be in his wheel house.

Good to know!

Not quite sure he's coaching while battling cancer, all the best wishes to him !
Here is a good one:
What age are you? I coach elite and high school free. If you're a middle aged lawyer going for a BQ, then I have a small fee.
Shoot me an email with your PRs, age, goals, etc and we can see what we can do. I have coached a few athletes who have gone D1 and I'm working on getting one fast enough to get into a professional training group (will remain anonymous).
Not sure if I should start another thread for this, what's the difference between McMillian and Daniels?
From what I've read, and there isn't much out there, it seems McMillian is more Lydiard based?
There's a guy in Atlanta who I have heard good things about - writes for RT/RW/etc and has online options too
Ryan and Eva Vail and Michael Kilburg are taking on clients:

I'd imagine it's a mix of Dave Smith and Rob Conner coaching styles. Both of whom are top-10 NCAA XC coaches.
This guy used to coach with Canova in Iten -

Presumably after 3 years with Canova he understands his methods better than most.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
