If this happened the other way around, Kaminsky would be crucified.

He did not say anything to Kaminsky. He referred to K as the N word under his breath. That is actually a term of respect to a white player -- or an indictment of the media that is constantly hyping the intelligence and work ethic of white players.
This pretense that black people have the same education, money, opportunity, rights and privileges as white people that underlines much of these right wing comments on letsrun is as obvious as it is ridiculous.
Money is earned, make your own opportunities, education is free through HS so if you want it, it is there for the taking. With that, you will have rights and privileges.
Stop making excuses.
And racially illiterate white people everywhere go up in arms since they do not even understand that this is not a slur as used by Harrison. if he wanted to use a racial slur against Kaminsky, he would have called him a redneck cracker or a b*tch-a*s h*nky or something else like that.
The use of the N-word here is more like dude. Of course he is expressing anger, but here is not a racial element here, and it's not because the speaker is black as some people are suggesting. Black people are entirely capable of making racist statements. This was not one of them - sorry to disappoint you.
If none of that makes sense to you, then you probably want to try harder to expose your children to more people unlike themselves so they don't turn out as clueless as you yourselves are.
By the way, why all the white angst about not being able to say the n-word? Why would you as a white person want to?

The word itself has different meanings depending on the context and user. Irish people get to tell Irish jokes. Jewish people get to tell Irish jokes and black people get to use the n-word.
The same is true for family. You get to criticize your family but you don't allow others to say the same things.
I know you understand this.
Poor losers
Didnt go through the handshake line.
Fans setting the streets on fire
Media erroneously calling it an upset
Player cheapshotting other player in the head and later costing his team a posession with a charge.
Kentucky was not only vastly overrated but the players are not very smart and that is why they lost.
Beat an Nba team? Not a chance
Harrison is a jacka$s. Especially now that it is his fault I have to hear a bunch of pathetic people cry about double standards.

What kind of deluded fool actually believes that particularly ridiculous bit of propaganda?
I have known for a long time the Harrison twins were bad apples, even thugs. I doubt he wrote those tweets. I bet he can't even spell many of those words. If the situation was reversed, and Kaminsky had muttered the same phrase about Harrison, the media would be covering it non-stop, Al Sharpton and Jesse J, Jr., et. al., would be boarding planes in route to boycott the final. I missed the final minutes, but I thought during the 2nd half that if Kentucky lost they would likely behave with class. Not surprised at all.
^like this guy^
Because of Harrison being a classless punk, I have to listen to these idiots

This quote drips with Progressive-Marxist nonsense that has been inflected upon you in indoctrination centers formerly referred to as universities.
Wow , you must be a professor of something !
The handshake line is dumb and not mandatory. I would not like if the other team danced around like clowns and then feel obligated to shake their hand.
Who really cares what Harrison said. He said it under his breath and unless you stick the speaker to your ear nobody can hear it. The media or some of the media is blowing it out of proportion.
Wisconsin is a great team no doubt and would love to see them win the title but that is a team without NBA talent on the other hand Kentucky is a team of significant NBA level players. Who would you rather be in the end? I hate how everyone thinks given the opportunity many Badger players would not be one and done. I'm telling you right now I would leave given the chance to earn that kinda cash.
Under his breath!!!!
its a damned press conference not a bar or basketballcourt!!!
Bird and MJ talked like this all the time, just not in public!
guys a damned moron!!
How can you be so ignorant? Do you realize what the Harrison twins along with the entire Kentucky team has done for community service in the greater Lexington area? More than ANY OTHER COLLEGE DI TEAM!! And you come here as clueless as a jackass can be and call these kids who have probably much more class than you THUGS??? That says a lot about you!
OP,
Yes there are double standards. Blacks can use the word. Whites can not. Harrison actually used the word as a total sign of respect.
Harrison's use of the word here was actually quite complex - well at least more complex than you can understand. But using a 'racial slur" at a totally white dude, he's totally praising him.
He's not really being racist. Well I guess one could argue he's being racist in that implicit in his statement is that blacks are better than whites at basketball

Why would anyone, especially a black person, want to use that word?

False.

What a crock. A "total sign of respect?" LOL. Perhaps you could portray it that way if he had said Kaminsky plays like a N*******. But instead he said "FuKK that N******." That is not showing any respect. That is the utmost sign of disrespect.

Maybe you would leave right away for the cash...but you also wouldn't make it on that team. You're too selfish. Kentucky showed what most people who don't have their head in the sand knew, they are low class. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face seeing a smart, selfless team playing together and knocking off a team of future nba thugs.
Btw despite not being black, Kominsky and Dekker will both be NBA players.
