I have been stopped MANY times by white cops for very petty things. It was pretty obvious they were making it up as they go. While in college I was riding in a car with my roommate in downtown DC and we said hi to a lady of the night. We were at a red light and we proceeded to our apartment a couple blocks away. A white cop followed us and when we got out of the car the cop pulled his gun and told us to get back in the car. He ran my roommates lic and registration. Everything was OK. When we asked why he stopped us he said in DC it was illegal to "talk to an unknown woman" but he was going to let us slide. Un fvckin believable!! I swear on everything I hold sacred this actually happen. TRUE STORY!
Zero and I'm black. You know why? Because I simply follow the rules.
First time in my life this morning! My registration was expired! The cop was black! We were both polite and went on our ways! Incredible!
It's real easy to speed in a high end Mercedes.
35yo, 3 times.
I'm retired cop. Go put the uniform on and experience reality. As uniform, a thousand attempt to locates are top priority. Years of kidnaps.. suspect cars, murder suspect cars from all over. Everyday you get 20 more,ATL out of this city and that, on horrible crimes and armed men to the teeth. Partial description of two men in a dark colored Chevy sedan, last seen this area. Almost every car your remembering this Amber alert and that rape...that car is way close to Florida child kidnap, holy crap it has Florida plates. You have no idea in your wildest mind what cops are doing. Go put the uniform on and your mouth will shut forever.

I don't know which one is worse, your horrible grammar structure or your incredibly boring story.

This was indecipherable.
got stopped for going 32 in a 25 - on sat morning - 6:30 - rural road
got stopped for going 60 in a 55 (steep downhill in a canyon) while getting scrunched by a 18 wheeler - pulled out to avoid an accident
ahhh. that's it ... and I'm always nice to cops
Not once. I'm middle class white guy, so cops don't pull me over. I could get away with murder if I wanted to. Best way to keep cops from pulling you over in Virginia is to have a jacked up diesel pickup truck with a don't tread on me license plate. You're golden with that vehicle.
I love Chris Rock but he is full of sh%t on this one...what is the full story? If he was truly pulled over for no reason I could understand his point. But since he clearly avoids saying that, I can only guess he was legitimately pulled for speeding or something else. So if you are speeding all the time and can afford to pay the tickets and higher insurance, why should it be a surprise?

I'll make it simple. Go put the uniform on you little monkeys. Then you can talk about grammar and sentence structure. For now, go put the uniform on.
Cool story, bro. So if I put the uniform on can I carry a gun too and pull people over and stuff and pretend like I am an uneducated bad ass ?
Who you calling a little monkey ?

Calling BS on this. I have driven all over both coasts, and I have never been pulled over. I always set my cruise control to 70 in 55 mph zones unless congestion prevents it. I have never heard of anyone getting pulled over for speeding by 5 mph. In fact, in my current state, local police are only allowed to ticket you if you are exceeding the speed limit by 11 mph and state cops can only ticket you if you're over by 6 mph. Of course, that's irrelevant because they wouldn't pull you over at those speeds anyway--while they were writing some small ticket to the guy who was doing 70 in a 55, three people doing 90+ would drive by. The money is in ticketing major speeders, not in pulling over some dude driving at a normal speed.
Appearance of wealth by particularly a black man irritates white males and
heightens their already deep insecurities.A white male in police uniform sees
a black man driving an expensive automobile, gets agitated and will try to dp
anything he can to put the black man in his 'place'.
A white male in uniform has to compensate for you know what. They do cling
to their guns.It makes them feel masculine.Black cops are not plagued by such insecurities.
So far in 2015: none
2014: 4 times (2 tickets, 70 in a 35 and 75 in a 45)
I have a bad habit of driving way over the speed limit.
This year: 0
I'm 44. I have been pulled over 3 times in my life.
1. Tickets for 38 in a 25 going down a steep hill. I deserved the ticket.
2. Stopped for a burned out headlight when I dimmed the high beams. I had the replacement light sitting next to me in the passenger seat. Received a safety warning.
3. Stopped once for being in a public county park during a weekday. I had been hiking in the park. Returned to my car, ate some lunch, then was leaving the parking area when a county sheriff pulled me over. I had done nothing wrong, and he was trolling. Once he realized that he pulled me over for no legitimate reason, he tried to act all nice and be Mr. Friendly.
