Hey guys, I'm a D3 track guy. I put on a few pounds over the winter and I'm hoping to get lean now that outdoor has started. My problem is I feel like I'm eating more calories than I burn during my runs, but my appetite has only gone up as my mileage has increased. I know that my appetite is a pretty good indicator of how much I should eat but I'm pretty sure I've just gotten used to eating huge meals because my cafeteria is pretty much an all you can eat buffet. I've heard stuff such as stomach stretching out and other causes for why I may constantly be hungry but not necessarily need any more fuel. Any tips for how I can cut back on my appetite and drop a few pounds without jeopardizing my training?
