No, the difference between Haile and Kenenisa is that Haile came along first, smiles more and speaks better English. Don't be ignorant and admire them both for how well they run, rather than who interviews better. I feel Bekele is one of the most under-appreciated runners of all time, despite being the GOAT, or at least in the top-3 all-time.
Bekele is a beast, and when he's at 100% he's unbeatable (unless he miscounts laps lol - thinking back to Mombasa '07).
On the topic of his training, I could easily believe that he ran 80 miles/week as a track runner, just look at his stride. He's definitely one for high quality training, and I look forward to seeing what he can do over the marathon distance with Canova's targeted pace training. However, I think he is designed to run 60 - 63s/lap because I've never seen anyone who looks so easy in that pace range. Whenever I watch him running longer races he looks bored by the pace and almost 'trapped' by the length of the race. His 5K WR video is great to watch, 3000m of Bekele pushing as hard as he can and looking like he's out for a Sunday morning jog in the park.
