With all of the hub bub recently about these two supplements (in particular L-Carnitine), I've been curious about any research that's been done and there is a giant mixed bag on the internet...as expected.
I'm curious of two things:
1.) Does anyone have any first hand experience with either supplement? And if so, was it positive/negative/useless?
2.) Assuming the supplement(s) is taken orally, how do people feel about it's use? Is it ethical? If not, how is it different than supplements of say...iron/vitD/calcium/etc?
