With Clarkson fired they will need new presenters, and it won't be the same.

Clarkson is a bully, a sh*t-head, an ugly man and useless.
Good riddance.
You were right up until "useless".
Cl*rkson is the first person to admit he's a bully, a sh*thead and an ugly man, which is what makes him so bloody marvellous.
(He had to go though)
"This car is more fun than the French Air Force crashing into a firework factory".
"I would buy [a Ford Mustang] if I were the sort of person who looks at their sister and thinks ... mmmmm".
"The Suzuki Wagon R should be avoided like sex with an unprotected Ethiopian prostitute".
"And it's made in Britain! Which is another way of saying the door is going to fall off."
Clarkson was the man, i've been watching top gear since I was 6 and now i feel like he's part of my childhood. I may not watch Top Gear anymore if he actually goes.

No he did not. Why does he have to go for saying out loud what we all think? TV now (and now has for the last 10 to 15 years) is competing with the Internet. Days of deciding what people can or cannot see, hear or not hear is over...
It's living in the past. Demise of TV will only go faster... You can't afford to kill top shows anymore. They will never be replaced...
It reminds me of the episode in House of Cards (the US one), where the. Editor in Chief of a Washington Newspaper was basically saying that people are not interested in up to the minute info, like what if possible with Social media... The readership is interested in blah blah blah... Then he lost his job (rightly so). I hope that whoever sacked Clarkson loses his job...
Jeremy Clarkson is just another conservative who lost it & lost his job.
He wasn't removed for saying crap, he was removed because he had a physical altercation with a coworker (producer). Where I work if some body gets mad and hits a coworker they are gone. He let his childish bully crap cross over the line and is now paying the price. Good riddance I say!
I'm going to assume this whole discussion is between Brits or Euros. I've always wondered what you guys make of the strange US-centric baiting and trolling that goes on on these boards, and now I have my own perspective. Carry on, gentleman.
He punched another man in the face. It is kind of fun to make light of it as that is the type of humor that show brings out of us, but grown men can't have "physical altercations" in real life without paying the piper. When is the last time you actually punched someone in the face that wasn't in a self-defense situation?
I am not criticizing the decision by BBC - Jeremy left them little option. But like many as$holes he was good at his craft. I think he will get a new gif with Hammond and May, but I'm sure the whole vibe will be different and everyone will compare it to their Top Gear days.

Are you saying you haven't read a Deano versus Ventolin thread?
Euros wrote the book on baiting and trolling
Good time for Clarkson (and the show in its present form) to move on. IMO one of the best shows ever, but even I think it's starting to get just a bit tired. TG has been completely revamped before (who remembers William Woolard!) and its time for TG3. Hamster and May have their own projects now, so let's hope they don't try to limp along for the $ (sorry, pounds)
ventolin is British? christ, it all makes sense now.
Clarkson makes the show funny by being politically incorrect and not to many people these days have the balls like him ( no bromo ) to say what they want to say without being worried of offending the modern day hipster.
Fox will pick up the three on that show in a heartbeat. Look for BBC to try and stop them from leaving through lawyers. Murdoch has probably spoken with them by now.
I thought I was the only one that cared. Yay. Yea, the other presenters will be the first to talk crap about him but it's all stuff they would say to his face. Nobody is gonna watch whatever crap Top Gear they try to put together without those three. I'm glad about how they keep saying that they operate as a unit.
I've seen every episode and am sad to see it go, but you can't do what Clarkson did and survive. The clumsy orangutang was going to mess it up sooner or later
