This is bad. Really bad.

Have you tried Ad Block Plus? I use chrome to browse and never see ads anymore. Not sure how to download it on other browsers.
Agreed. I wonder if the server is infected. The problem adds are not the banner adds that obviously support the site, but rather within posts there are underlined words with arrows to the right of them. On an IPhone just scrolling past sections containing an underlined word causes a window to pop up and hog about 25% of the screen blocking the text of a post. You scroll past it to avoid the add, and a post or two down will be the same thing.
Is the server infected and inserting these links?
I don't see any ads on this site.
If it's autoplay you're bothered about, turn it off in your brower's settings.
It's not autoplay ads. I just started noticing this yesterday. It's nearly impossible to read anything on a phone or tablet because these pop-up ads (from underlined keywords) obscure most of the page. FIX THIS BROSJO!!
Please.
Just started seeing it today also these popups are really annoying. On iphone Safari.

Are you using an iPhone? For example the post immediately following your original post contained the word phone. It is being displayed under both safari and chrome as being underlined with an arrow to the right of it. Any time you bring this post into view, a popup appears.
If you are on a PC/Mac, use Adblock Edge for firefox. AdBlock Plus has sold out. It "allows" a few select ads. If you are on a mobile device, unless your device is rooted, AFAIK, you are SOL.

This is it. It is only a problem on my smartphone.
I'm using Chrome on a Samsung Galaxy 5 and don't see the problem.
LOL @ Apple Fanbois suffering through all those ads!
It's definitely a server issue. This website shows how to view source code while browsing imam iphone.

The problem with the "phone" keyword from above can be found embedded within the code that the server is delivering.
Eric, please fix!

No, it's a you have no clue issue.
I haven't seen an Ad in years on my PC, Android or Apple products.
You are talking out of you arse about source code and servers yet you are too stupid to install a free add on to solve your problem.

I understand that advertising supports this website so I'm willing to do my part and deal with a limited amount of ads for the greater good of this site.
The adchoices code is being delivered by the server. You can see it in the source, and I can't imagine it's being delivered intentionally.
Mods? Any input? Are the adchoices ads being delivered to us by design?
Agreed. This just became a problem for me on my phone yesterday.
It seems to have gotten better. Have the brojos fixed it?
No. It hasn't.
