I'm a Highschool Senior, who had just set my pr of 4:56 1600m. The school record is 4:40, and I really want to break this before the end of the season, which is early May. I capped out at 45 miles the week before the race, which was mainly an overload week as i had only ran 20-25 for the last few weeks before it due to ITBS.
Yesterday I ran 6 miles at 7:20 pace, and felt really relaxed.
Today's workout I ran 9 or 10 400's at 1:10 pace with 1 minute rest. And after school I ran 3 miles easy at 7:30 pace.
Any help would be appreciated!
