guys, I need to do something about this. I'm a former several time All American who has just let himself go. Because of my genetics, I'm still relatively thin, but at his point I'm quite soft. I would describe myself as skinny fat. I bet i weigh 170 vs the 150 when I was at my peak. Normal weight gain, but I was probably 175+ for a while but with a lot of muscle. Now I have zero muscle.
Due to a car accident, I can't run anymore and unfortunately I just don't like the elliptical or stationary bike. I also have kids, so going to the gym for 75 minutes a day like I did when I was 25 just isn't in the cards. That being said, I want and need to workout.
I'm hoping some others with similar stories can chime in and give some advice on where to start. I don't even know what to do. Body weight stuff? HIIT? Ideally I can find a plan where I work my butt off for 30 minutes a bunch of times a week and lose some fat while gaining muscle.
Is this even possible?
