I am a freshman 1500m and 3000m runner. I would like to break 4:40 and 9:50 this year. My problem is my coach doesn't really know that much about track and field. She said today that a lot of the stuff right now is for the jumpers and sprints because that's most of the team. I am not sure what I should do about this. I have been training all winter logging 50km weeks and am now starting to incorporeal speed work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
