i'm running Boston with a goal of 2:45. My current training shoe is the Nike Lunartempo. I was wondering if I would expect much of I time difference between racing in the Lunartempo vs the Lunaracer 3.

nah, not really. the lunaracer is about half an ounce lighter, so if you'd like a lighter ride then you could get it, otherwise they're very, very similar
Thanks. I read that the racer were a little firmer and thought the weight differential may not be substantial but the energy loss from the softer sole could possibly result in a slower time.
lunaracer is definitely lighter and feels faster cause the tempo is surprisingly soft. however that softness might be helpful on the downhills throughout the course in boston. i do see the tempo and lunaracer as ideal partners for training/racing purposed, but if you havent used the lunaracer much i may stick with what has worked
